"I had previously rated this place lower because of one particular employee who worked the night shift in the first couple of months they were open, but he's been gone for quite a while now.Now, the store is everything I had hoped it would be, and then some. They make excellent breakfast sandwiches and other hot food, they make espresso, they have frozen slushee type drinks (including mandarin orange flavored Jarrito's! , And they have a killer selection of beer and hard cider.I have only used the bathroom once but it was the cleanest gas station bathroom I have ever seen. The staff are all friendly, and it's very rare to have to wait in line, and when that happens, it only lasts about 1 minute. Always very fast, thanks to an owner or manager who knows how to properly staff his store and ensure there are two people available to run separate registers during the busier parts of the day.They seem to always be hiring (they usually have a sign up on the door saying so but somehow it never feels like they are short-staffed or falling behind on cleaning and whatnot, which strikes me as a testament to the dedication and hard work of the people who do work there.In summary: I never thought I would welcome a gas station+mini Mart to the neighborhood so close to my house, as I bought out here specifically for the quiet, and the rural feel. But Mullenix Market has proven itself to be a fantastic neighbor, and because of that, I consider it to be a very welcome and positive addition to the community."

"I brought my 94 year old dad to Trophy Lake for fly fishing. The pro at the pro shop couldn't have been nicer or more accommodating, bringing us a golf cart to get to the water and patiently telling us how to access the ponds. As we were out in the middle of the day, we didn't get a nibble, but the ponds are pretty, the course is beautiful with a lovely waterfall to enjoy while having a dog and a beer. I will definitely return again."

"Great servers. Good food. Wednesday special is a $14 rib steak and tater tots well worth the price, a nice surprise. All five in our group had steaks cooked as requested. The add ons include grilled onions, mushrooms, and Bleu cheese. I had all three and my steak was flawless. The surrounding grounds include a beautiful golf course and lake for casting. This is a destination where you can grab a cold beer and sit under flower baskets or chow down inside and visit with friends."

"Bowling alley with restaurant and lounge so you drink and bowl. Beautiful little game. Nice made drinks good food cool place for a common night to catch with and with some shops around the area its a good place if you just want from the house."
