"I was here for a smales lunch. The restaurant is wooden furnished, but not as dark as many other places. It appeared fresh and light and friendly. The local beer, a cracker, was great. I ordered the chicken breast and it appeared after a short time, frying and hot and wel tasty. It was offered as ight mea and it was: wel fried chickens, okra and mixed funghi (Egerlings). Everything was friendly and efficient, without doing work the next day, it would be really fun."

"Der Gastraum ist indisch und aufdringlich dekoriert. Der Service ist freundlich, jedoch teilweise mit sehr schlechten Deutschkenntnissen (in unserem Fall nur Englisch möglich), wobei man hier anmerken muss, dass die Dame uns "lediglich" das Essen brachte, Bestellung und Bezahlung waren problemlos möglich. Als Starter gab es immer Brot mit drei verschiedenen Dips. Leider hat seit der Eröffnung die Originalität der Speisen nachgelassen, es scheint als hätte man sich leider an den deutschen Geschmack angepasst (Schärfe, Koriander). Das Essen schmeckt trotzdem sehr gut. Es gibt auch viele vegetarische Gerichte. Die Speisekarte ist sehr vielfältig."

"Nach allerbesten Erfahrungen mit dem Vorbesitzer (Valentin's) wurden wir heute schwer enttäuscht. Auf meine Bitte nach einem Guinness schaute mich die Bedienung mit großen Augen an und fragte "Was ist das?".Es stellte sich heraus, dass ein neuer Pächter das Restaurant übernommen hat.Nun ja....Wir bestellten Schnitzel "Wiener Art" mit Pommes. Ein original Wiener Schnitzel gibt es leider nicht mehr.Für mich sollte es ein Schäuferle mit Kloß und Salat sein.Auf die Frage, in welchem Fett das Schnitzel gebraten wird, holte die Bedienung eine Flasche Sonnenblumenöl aus der Küche. Wir erklärten, dass es wegen einer Allergie auf keinen Fall Rapsöl oder Maiskeimöl sein darf.Als der Salat an den Tisch gebracht wurde, bestand das Dressing aus einer Fertigsoße.Die matschigen Pommes waren in einem schon etwas betagten Fett frittiert und konnten nicht überzeugen.Mal abgesehen von einigen leicht angebrannten Stellen war das Schnitzel nicht schlecht.Die Kruste vom Schäuferle war rösch, das Fleisch war in Ordnung, aber nicht Spitzenklasse.Dazu wurden 2 Klöße mit einer Fertigsoße gereicht.Auf die Reklamation wegen der matschigen Pommes wurde als Entschuldigung ein Espresso angeboten. Wenn der nicht nur lauwarm gewesen wäre, könnte man das ja noch akzeptieren.Als Hintergrundmusik konnte man Michael Jackson und ACDC geniessen.Geschmackssache.......Wenn ich dann noch den Toilettenschlüssel am Tresen holen muss, hört es bei mir auf.Für uns: nie wieder!"

"This is the only restaurant serving a beach which is quite busy in the summer months - so they basically only have to make certain that their food doesn't kill customers. Having said that, they're not particularly terrible. Portions are sizable, so you'll come away sated, you'll not have any fun in getting there, but you won't get stomach cramps afterwards either.Eat there if you must, but be aware that that's the only reason any of the other people around you are ordering as well."
