"Last night I went to the Bavarian German restaurant in the rouse hill. I was very impressed by the friendly and helpful staff, especially a type called irish. he had such a real and infectious smile that made it obvious that he was happy to work there. he regularly checked how the dinge go and provided valuable information to make us a great choice when selecting our meal times. that was delicious. we felt that there is a great atmosphere, excellent dining and drinks options, all offered at a very affordable and affordable price. we will definitely return, as we felt very welcomed by all our employees and enjoyed the atmosphere very much."

"The steaks weren't cooked how we asked, all the food was 2out of 10 very disappointing. They had heaps of staff on but the staff were to busy huddled in the corner talking. After trying to get the bill 3 times I went off at the manager / owner in front of other people and not even that got the bill to us. Finally we decided to walk out , they got the bill to us then. Absolutely hopeless service."

"Take a booking for 14 noisy family members (that's us), many of whom haven't seen each other in months, present opening, a couple of messy small children on a super busy Sunday lunch time seating and you could be just asking for trouble. However, the...staff at Grand Lotus could not have been more helpful and friendly. We had Yum Cha with dessert and drinks, and ate way more than would seem possible. We were able to laugh and chat with each other. All in all, a wonder few hours spent with the family and delicious food. (My favourite was the deep fried scallop from the Yum Cha selection We went without nothing and ordered more than we needed, yet the bill averaged around $33 per person. Bargain! Thank you Sally and Daniel and all the team at Grand Lotus. This was our second January family Xmas dinner there and we will certainly be going back."

"So my wife and I and our 6 month old walk in with my brother and he's just pregnant wife. We get our seats assigned and sit down. We have been here before so we knew what to order. But before our menu's were brought to us there were other people sat down and menus taken to them. We had a simple order. Garlic bread for entree. For main we had 2 gnocchi and a margarita and vegetarian Pizza. Our order was taken however before our drinks where brought there were other people served that came after us. We sat there for well over 30 min for our garlic bread (which was really tasty). As we sat there for over an hour watching people that came after us being served. We decided to leave. We asked management how much we owed for our drinks and garlic bread and politely complained about our food being so late. To this we had a nasty reply "if you knew anything about Italian food you would know it takes a long time to cook". I do know about Italian food and I'm sure it does not take over an hour to make a margarita. I was told the food is all on the stove and would be ready in 2 minutes. This was a lie as the gnocchi were not even boiled yet (kitchen door opened and we saw) Also the margarita was not even in the oven well.over an hour after the order has been taken. The management was quite insulting at our displeasure and not happy at all for us leaving. I did offer to pay for the food even though it never came out. We have been here in the past and the service has allways been slow. Considering there were only 3 adults and 2 children in the restaurant beside us the service was appalling. This is a shame as the food that eventually comes out tastes great"
