"Wir waren im Winterurlaub 1 Woche in Leogang und haben im Kirchenwirt das perfekte Lokal gefunden. Preislich natürlich in der oberen Region angesiedelt, was jedoch aufgrund des Angebotes der Küche, des Service, der Weinauswahl des Ambientes ... mehr als nur gerechtfertigt ist.Wir waren in 1 Woche 3 x zu Gast - und man fühlt sich beim Kirchenwirt auch als Gast. Wenn ihr sehr sehr gut Essen gehen wollt und nicht das Alltägliche sucht, eine riesen Auswahl an Weinen schätzt, dann seid ihr beim Kirchenwirt genau an der richtigen Stelle.Der Kirchenwirt ist auch eine Extraanreise nach Leogang wert. Wir kommen gerne wieder und können euch den Kirchenwirt nur empfehlen. Danke an das Team für die überaus freundliche - ja schon fast familiäre - Aufnahme und Betreuung."

"We have the name of this almosis in the Tourist Information Office in Maria Alm. We found it by switching off the southern 311 just outside Saalfelden on a shield to Biberg. We drove up the road that turned into a route and then turned to the left on a sign to Forsthofalm. It lies at an altitude of 1120 meters. We parked on the side of the building and entered as a barn looked. We were greeted by the owner and shown in the dining area, consisting of two ten seat tables and a table for two and an old fashion series. We came to four others and were introduced with Späkasbrot, a deep fried pancake that was eaten with cranberry jam. We had cheese dumping soup and pork and sauerkraut followed by the special pancakes. The Mea I was delicious. We drank cyclists and whiteberries with a coffee. Unfortunately it is only open between May and the end of October. The meal cost us 15 euros."

"One of the most beautiful destinations in Saalfelden. Wonderful hiking destination with a magnificent view of the wide tai pool of saalfelden with a view of the surrounding mountains of the stone sea, the leoganger stone mountains up to the rock formations of the high king. easy to walk or with the double chairlift, direct access (in summer) with the pkw possible. from the nearby mountain station of the sessellift leads an interesting summer toboggan run into the valley. hauptattraction of the gasthof is however the very good kitchen, in which local dishes are lovingly prepared by the wet personally. the offered food tastes on the beautiful view terrace, with magnificent view of the far, just as good. especially the fried ripperl with bratkartoffeln, garlic sauce and herb salad or pinzgauer Kasnocken, as a dessert an imperial, are recommended. all this is served to moderate trips by a friendly service."

"We have been to this restaurant for many years, but the prices have gone up to a level that we don't find acceptable and staff is very unfriendly. We now rather go somewhere else. Were not the only ones, because when we walk past we see less patrons than there used to be. It is a shame because they have a nice outdoor area and during summer they also have the local music clubs playing Austrian music."
