"I have been to Marcos a few times and have never had an experience like I did last night. We got seated on the terrace for our 5:15 reservation. The table was too small to accomodate the 4 people +1 high chair (that we also never even received) but this was the least of our worries. It took 1.5 hours to get kids meals on the table. People who had ordered and arrived after us were being served their food while we sat around like idiots waiting for food. We had a 2 year old with us and a 6.5 year old. You'd think that the restaurant would get the kids' plates out first since children tend to get very cranky when they are hungry. Marcos, you could learn a thing or two from Scarolies in Pointe-Claire, who ALWAYS brings our child's food out first and even asks if we'd like the check early so that we can bounce quickly if the toddler gets unruly. When I begged for my son's plate to come out asap, the waitress mentioned that all plates come out at the same time. No. Just no. Bring out the kid's meals when they're ready. Also, we need time for the plates to cool so the kids can actually eat the food, so BRING IT OUT ASAP. A couple next to us ordered after us and got their pizza first. When I mentioned that my son hadn't received his pizza, the waitress said, "But they only had one pizza on order". Uh, hello, so did we. When she finally brought the pizza out, she said "Careful, it's VERY hot". Well, duh! This is why I wanted the pizza to come out MUCH earlier so 1) it could cool down and 2) my kid could eat it without waiting 1.5 hours for it.Yes, it took 1.5 hours to get kid sized pasta bowl and a bambino pizza. It then took another 30 mins for the 3 adults to get our food. What did we order? 2 burgers and a chicken sandwich. With salads. How on earth it takes a restaurant 2 hours to make a few burgers and throw some chicken on a bun, I have no idea. We had to tell the waitress that if the food was not ready, to just cancel the order and box up the kid's meals. She said the food was nearly ready, and we told her to not even bother bringing it out on plates. Just box it up, and give us the check. As for the check, we were charged for fries that my son was supposed to get with his meal that, of course, never even showed up. The charge was thankfully removed, but my god, what an AWFUL experience. People who showed up after us had all been fed and were eating their meals while we sat there for 2 hours like complete idiots. I will never ever ever come here again. To sit for 2 hours and not be able to get a chicken sandwich (that was completely awful, by the way) is a disgrace. Shame on you, Marcos, and tell the old guy in the white shirt with the scarf around his neck to maybe bring a few extra to work, because he was completely soaked and grossing customers out as he walked around in a completely wet shirt, front and back."

"This small restaurant is a jewel in the midst of many of the tourist, overpriced, sub standard places along the promenade. everything on the menu that I have tried to eat and take, was cooked with care and love for detail, and... it shows in 'home cooked' taste. we went first for their brittle, which are so good and fresh, and also their coffee, which I think is the best for miles. the owners, oscar and lidia are from peru so know their coffee! lately we have ordered from their lunch menu and loved everything. generally filled sandwiches, delicious quesadillas and chili, fresh salads and how made for the house desserts? all calorie worth! at our recent visit we decided to start the daily special that was huhn marengo, with a choice of soup or quinoa salat, all for a very reasonable $16! everything was delicious, the huh was so tender and the accompanying mushroom sauce, amazing! we finished our meal with a piece of pancake, and carrot pine cake and a latte. All right. they now have a fleet license and offer local microbrauerei, trois lac beer that are excellent. we haven't checked her weinliste, but next time. if they are looking for a good home cooking in a pleasant environment, with very fair trips and friendly service, au bout de l 'isle is their best choice in ste anne de bellevue."

"Nous avons apprécié notre première visite à ce restaurant. Les pizzas sont très bonnes. Le service très bon aussi. Toutefois un peu cher pour un restaurant de pizza. Malheureusement, nous y sommes allés un jour de pluie mais ce doit être un endroit très charmant quand il fait beau et chaud."

"Had fish and chips, fish was tasteless and left one after taste in mouth, not finished. salat was devastated and was not clean, had black and red pieces salat and only from waitress to say that salat is tender so that it happens. No. it does not when it is fresh and clean! very respectful to customers with such a response. at these prices... all should be fresh. clean....and imaginable. definitiw never go back and do not justify the prices they calculate for what looked like rest."

"We recently went for lunch on a nice Tuesday to enjoy this newly renovated waterfront resto. There was no longer a lunch special, which was disappointing. Given the weekday, and all of 4 other people on the terrace, I think the owners to rethink their strategy, given the competition in the village that offers dessert, and coffee as well.The traditional wiener schnitzel at $18.95 included a salad or soup, a huge piece of meat, fried potatoes and some red cabbage. Unfortunately, the schnitzel was not pan-fried, but dropped into the same frying basket as the commercial sliced potatoes. This rendered the meat very dry. No amount of lemon could save it. I was also disappointed that the potatoes were not the traditional German-style potato salad. Even the red cabbage was too sweet.It's a pity that this restaurant with a lovely interior dining-room, and a gorgeous terrace, should need a more experienced cook. The menu is too expensive for lunch for the area, when compared to the other restos on the strip.The waitress was very pleasant."

"Moi et ma femme sommes allé pour un souper un samedi soir tres peu de monde au restaurant environ 3 couples seulement et lorsque la serveuse est venu apporté les appéros elle a malheureusement fait basculé le verre de sangria sur la table et nous en avons les deux recu un peu de liquide, la serveuse mal a l'aise est repartir pour revenir essuyer la table sans demandé si nous en avions sur nous et apres quand nous avons recu nos assiettes ma femme a commandé l'assiette de coté levés était bien mais moi oupps j'ai recu genre deux petits filets de poisson pour enfants car j'avais demandé des fish and chips je pensais avoir une assiette convenable mais j'ai été tres décu et la bouffe était pas tres chaude lors de son arrivé a notre table. J'avais l'habitude de me rendre a se restaurant plusieurs au cours de l'année mais apres maintes déception je suis ici a vous en ecrire une et je vous ne recommande pas le restaurant car moi j'ai mis une crois dessus mais je vais essayer les autres autouré."

"It is always a pleasurable experience to dine here, especially during the summer months where you can sit out on the terrace next to the Locks of Saint-Anne. We ordered the Bento Box which gives you a little bit of everything: spring rolls with plum sauce, General Tao chicken on rice, tempura shrimp and veggies with teriyaki sauce, sushi rolls, pickled ginger, with starters of miso soup with tofu and broccoli and a mixed green salad with cucumbers and shredded carrot. There are other Bento Box choices as well, plus many other interesting plates. It is always a good sign when an Japanese/Chinese restaurant is frequented by Asians. We often see this here. The service is friendly and attentive."
