"This is a great place for many reasons but one being that they list what can and can’t be made vegan and almost everything can be made vegan. They are a great company doing there best to keep everything as local as possible as well as implementing things like beefless monday(not perfect but a step in the right direction). The only problem is that it will always be expensive but it is totally worth it."

"I would not go back to this place. While our waitress was pleasant there seemed to be a huge miscommunication with the kitchen but before I get to that let me say the outdoor area is pleasant and they are following covid protocols strictly even after CDC easing restrictions so you can take that as you 'd like. We went there because the menu says they offer rotating ramen we showed up after 5pm, we ordered drinks then attempted to place our order for ramen we were informed the kitchen didn 't have the ramen ready and it would be another at least 50min. After a few back and forth of communication between the kitchen and our waitress she said they may be able to do it sooner or maybe not and it ended up being tofu and prawns ramen...we ended up ordering fries and drinks and leaving. Just not good to advertise something that won 't be ready when customers arrive. Just bad bussiness practice so I wouldn 't go back or recommend wasting time on visiting."

"Cool pizza spot that has other interesting dishes as well. The fried chicken had what tasted like a jalepeno cheese mushroom sauce on it. It was very good but I think felt slightly out of place as a pizza focused restaurant? Not that there's necessarily anything wrong with that because, again, it was very good, but switching from the flavor profile of a pizza margherita to a cheesy spicy fried chicken was a bit odd. I think if/when I go back I would stick to just pizza or just an entree, rather than mixing the two, but I'm glad I tried both. As for how the pizza stacks up, it's solid, but Sleight of Hand still has it beat in terms of best pizza in Santa Cruz. Bantam's pie was very tomato forward. The mozzarella was very delicious but it didn't feel like there was enough relative to the tomato sauce. The crust had nice leopard spotting but lacked a little in flavor. It also had a bit of an identity crisis in terms of what it wanted to be. It was shaped like Neapolitan, with the circular slices of fresh mozz spread around, but the crust was thinner and crunchier, unlike a traditional Neapolitan. When I walked in I was hit with a very intoxicating aroma of italian sausage, so next time I might try the sausage pizza, but I will check where they source their meat first."
