"Well, the view on a sunny day is simply amazing. And to walk around the trails to the other side of the small mountain is also nice. However, the place though fine, the meals are just average like the typical German Austrian type of cuisine. Nothing new on that, and a little bit expensive, like 2 to 3 Euros above a normal plate for a normal Gasthof like this one. Like 40 km away from Salzburg, the only way to get here would be by car. Tricky, hope you have a nice SatNav. Cheers!"

"Das beste gleich vorweg - Das Essen war Top - hier gibt es nichts zu bemängeln.Wir waren mit 30 Personen als Familienweihnachtsfeier an gekündigt - da kann man sich in der Küche eingentlich schon darauf einstellen. Aber ...Die Suppen dauerten geschlage 1,5 Stunden, die Haupspeise folgte Speisen- und nicht Tischweise.Die bestellten Kindergerichte kamen als letztes oder gar nicht und vom Kellner gab es auf Nachfrage nur eine billige Entschuldigung "Ja die Küche halt"."

"The rooms are very nice and clean. personal nice and helpful. eat a bit expensive but very good. breakfast top! only manko - the house borders directly to the village church. you have to expect to be lulled."

"Truly perfect – the garden in summer, the atmosphere inside the restaurant (typical Austrian), the amazingly friendly waiters / owners, the food,…. I just like all about it.They serve seasonal dishes, all fresh and made with love. If you go there in summer, enjoying a cold beer in the garden and have a snack or in winter for a delicious Schnitzel and a Kaiserschmarrn – it’s always the right time to go there. "A generation local hotel in near Salzburg. The staff were friendly and nice. The interior and architecture of hotel was superb. You could see how traditional it is. Delicious breakfasts. The location is good with a few amazing local restaurants around. They could improve...their gym a lot more and also having an air conditioner could be very nice in the summers. Overall, it was really good."
