"I stopped by Back Alley yesterday and asked specifically if they oil the lanes daily. A tall young man at the desk told me, yes, they oiled them daily, and I said I would be back the next day for practice while I'm in town. Upon arriving today, there was no employee to be seen. I finally found someone in the kitchen area at the back of the business. I prepaid for four games. I have NEVER bowled on lanes that were this dry! To say the lanes were bone dry is an understatement. After locating the young man, again at the back of the business), we asked him why the lanes were so dry and that we were told yesterday that the lanes were oiled daily. He immediately told me that what I was told the day previous was incorrect. He told me also that their oiling machine had been broken for some time but he could oil them by hand if I wanted to wait. Oiling lanes by hand is so far out of date that I don't even know of any bowling alley that still does it that way. I mean, Wow!I guess the only good part about the experience was when I asked for a refund, I wasn't given any problem. I think if you're looking for an arcade experience, this place would be okay but if you're a bowler who is at all serious about the game, this is not the place you want to go."

"Eli's Steak and Kidney pie was a delicious surprise for my English's husband's birthday dinner! My husband loves his meat pies and they aren't easy to find on this side of the pond. I was so happy to discover Eli's Meat Pie's! Eli is the sweetest person and her pies are savory and mouthwatering and taste just like they would in the UK. Go find her at the Daytona Beach Farmer's Market on Beach Street on Saturday mornings. You will not regret it!"

"Leanh’s offers the most authentic Chinese food I had in volusia county! the kitchen includes szechuan, mandarin, cantonese and other regional favorites. The menu offers many possibilities and the food is delicious! fresh, crispy noodles are served when they sit lean. yummy hot and sour soup, knödel and main courses like crispy shrimp with walnuts, egg foo yung and mu shu pork or bark are the best I had in fl. the waiting staff is polite and efficient. a nice restaurant for dinner, but they are always busy. expect some waiting time during the peak hours. I recommend leanh’s."

"I have been going to marks for about 5 months I have made a lot of friends the people there are real there's not a lot of drama just a lot of fun and good memories to be made drew the karaoke guy is awesome Mark and his wife are truly awesome people 100% recommend this place if you want a good time... and Tara I have no words other than she's just truly truly the best she will put a smile on your face she's not just a bartender she's a good friend... this is just the best bar and Daytona doesn't get much better then this place so go check it out and join the family you will not regret it"

"We met a friend here for lunch. we have not sworn because my sis had their 4 y.o enkelin with us. the food came fast, hot and fresh. the kartoffel keilfries were super krispy and a nice change of typical pommes. surprised to see a keilsalat on the menu, we share it and it did not cancel. our server/bartender was really sweet and helpful, she did a great work, and was patient while the child decided what to eat. she had the boneless wing and ate all. No complaining! we will come back with the family soon!"

"This place is amazing! The owners are incredible people. Easily two of the warmest, kindest, most genuine people I have had the pleasure of meeting. They have a very large selection of European, Russian and ethnic foods and are very knowledgeable on every product. Not only do they have a fantastic assortment of chocolates, wines, teas, desserts, meats, cheeses and snacks but they also make truly scrumptious homemade ethnic food as well. True delicacies like kebabs and savory, flaky meat pastries to baklava. I visit the store at least once a week and it is exciting to try something new every time. They also have a generous selection of delicious beer from Belgium, Russia, Germany, etc. which is always a hit with friends. I highly recommend this store for their contagious kindness and delicious food. You will be happy you went!"
