"We had a great dinner at this restaurant. We wanted to sit on the patio on a pleasant evening, and our hostess quickly cleaned a table for us. Service was prompt. Portions were huge, I mean seriously huge! We ordered haddock tacos, Greek pizza and fried haddock sandwich. Everything was delicious, beer was served in chilled mugs. We will definitely go back in future trips."

"I have been in and around the area for sometime now. I only just yesterday had the pleasure of enjoying some of The Lucky Monkey's delightful food. You know you have a damn good establishment when you can get a guy to go for a cheeseburger two days in a row. The quality of the meat is suprisingly good for the amazing price of everything. I'm looking forward to try some of their pork rinds next. Leave it to The Lucky Monkey to make a cheeseburger with green olives on top of it such a remarkable experience. Not really a point of going into Champaign to eat after this epiphany."

"We have enjoyed pizza and wings here before! However, we got the jumbo wings hoping they were ANYTHING like they sounded, but instead they were chicken fingers with dipping sauce. For close to $40! Big disappointment and way too expensive."

"We always enjoy going to Breakwater! This restaurant is always consistent with its food, cocktails and service. The wife and I have found that one of the biggest problems with waterfront dining in Connecticut and New England for that matter is lack of consistency in good/great food and service. We never worry about that when we come to Breakwater! The only other place in New England that I would mention is Coastguard House in RI. That to me and I hope to Breakwater is quite a compliment! We will be back again and again this season and for years to come!"

"Pizza joint in Old fashion New England village... We passed by this place so many times, but this was our first time to stop in and had lunch there. The place was clean and airy, unlike other pizza place which were often dark and and full of greasy air. Service was great, we were seated promptly and our order was taken quickly. We shared a field green house salad and a large pastrami sandwich. The salad was simple, but quite nice, full of fresh wild green with some sprinkle of blue cheese, mandarin orange, and balsamic vinaigrette. Pastrami sandwich served with nice steak roll with some fried onion and tomato. Everything was simple with fresh ingredients. They did not try to fancy up the food, just let the good ingredients came through. We saw other had pizzas and lobster rolls. We would try those next time..."

"The Fin Fern is a must visit if you are in Stonington. The food is fresh and delicious. I thoroughly enjoyed my scallops entree and Blueberry Mojito. Hubby's pasta was homemade and delicious. The atmosphere is fun we sat outside at a table next toa stone wall upon where we could sit and sip our drinks. When it got cool, the staff brought out blankets for those who wantedthem. All around, it was a fine experience. We'll definitely come back when we are in Stonington again!"
