"Arrived precisely at 7:30, opening time. It's off season in this lake town and most restaurants are closed, especially on Monday. Young lady let us have our choice of piccolo(small) tables. We foolishly chose one by the kitchen area which it turns out houses the communal staff table, a loud TV(playing Italian Survivor) and much typical animated Italian conversation. Waitress presents use w menus and wine list, makes some comments we don't understand and disappears for twenty minutes(we are only couple there). Order a bottle of beer and a 6€ bottle of house red(which was quite good). She places the bottle in a cylinder without pouring, tho every other table orders wine which she continually pours but never touches ours. Plus no beer glass so mine doubles for beer and wine. I order tagliolini with crepes, grilled whitefish. Wifey orders crawfish ravioli and roasted peppers. Stale bread arrives. Pasta is quite dry, crepes are delicious, ravioli are excellent! Meanwhile there are now eight tables, one of which is having a heated discussion w now overwhelmed waitress. My fish is a sight to behold, an entire whitefish, butterflied and deboned, grilled skin and head on, a bit dry but bennissimo. Peppers are as good as mine(but stale bread detracts). I order cappuccino, sambucca and the warm chocolate cream. After 20 min the dessert arrives, a magnificent chocolate lava cake w a small scoop of coffee? Gelato. Then come cappuccino and sambucca! Actually meal deserves a 4 despite dry pasta but uninspired and dismissive service kicks it down to a 3! Total cost with 1.80/person contino is €50, a relative bargain for a unique meal!"

"Place in the center of the main street of Orvieto, very very large with larger rooms and smaller and more private rooms, really well maintained and well looked after, very young staff, good looking as well as very friendly and professional. Normal bar during the day and nightclub open until late in the evening, extensive sweet and savory menu, large choice of liqueurs, drinks, wines and prosecco. Unfortunately the champagne was not available when my wife and I visited, but the waitress recommended a very good Franciacorta which did not make us regret its unavailability at all. Good and fresh appetizers, good variety since they are offered by the restaurant together with the aperitif. Truly recommended, day and evening/night. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5"

"At first glance it seems like a place like all the others, indeed almost a mirror for the allodole made for tourists. But once you sit, you realize that it is all else: the staff is very nice, kind and also from great tips on what to take: is also very attentive to the needs of the customer. great the cutting board of products of the house and also pork. then the price quality ratio really honest. "Restaurant in the center of Orvieto located in a side street... the place is well looked after by the owner and the service at the tables by the waitress Nadia is impeccable and fast... both umbrichelli with wild boar and the bocconcini with wild boar are excellent... like the truly excellent house red wine... but the gnocchi alla gricia a real disaster (too much pepper and dry)...
