"I really appreciate the amount of seating they have for everyone. I do suggest they install some ceiling fans in the covered seating area as it got quite stuffy. We were fortunate enough to find an available table at the end of the garden (outside) of the main area so we could enjoy the breeze. We ordered from the Lebanese window and enjoyed our chicken burger. The people were friendly and on this particular day they had live entertainment and activities for the kids."

"Situated next to Protur Spa Hotel this delightful restaurant serves authentic and varied mexican dishes in a cantina atmosphere. The staff are all friendly and helpful although not all speak English We thoroughly enjoyed our meal here. There is a terraced area, but when we visited it was too windy to eat outside."

"Me gusto mucho el lugar esta limpio, agradable y la comida es rica pedimos una charola que se llama Nunca he venido y la recomiendo viene variada y facilmente comen 2 personas con ella. Lo que si recomiendo es que la pina colada no traiga tanto hielo, se pierde el sabor. y los precios son accesibles"

"As I have said in previous reviews, living in TJ was a pleasure for its gastronomy. Famous worldwide for its food, that goes far beyond the well know street goodies, tacos and coronas, the new and young food scene in TJ is great. This tacos for instance, offer very unusual options, even for a mexican! from portobello, to octopues and mixes in between. This is a very inspired, committed effort by its creators. Add to that the creativity in the salsas they craft and you have a unique experience, highly recommended. Also, not cheap, but well worth it, this is a place not to eat a million tacos, but a few well selected and enjoyable new type of tacos."

"This is a pleasant bistro/café in which to spend a nice afternoon or evening with your girlfriends, family, significant other, etc. The food is imaginative, tasty, beautifully plated and affordable.We enjoyed crispy octopus tacos garnished with a spicy avocado smear and a lemon yoghurt sauce that was crisp, tangy, cooling and perfect. We also enjoyed grilled octopus that's prepared with kalamata olives and cherry tomatoes. Beef tongue tostadas was another hit as well as the grilled eggplant with brie and deep fried leeks on a balsamic vinegar/chocolate bed. We sampled two tarts for dessert, a guava and an apple/walnut; both were delicious and a perfect sweet ending to a delightful meal. Many of the plates being served to other diners looked appetizing and worth subsequent visits to try out. The only slip-up were the sweet potato fries that were soggy and way too greasy but this negative was more than counterbalanced by all the other dishes. Plates are perfect size for sharing and tasting. They have a fairly wide selection of wines, beer, soft-drinks and cocktails. The owner is present and watchful of all service details.They are open 2-10 M-Th and 2-11 F and S; closed Sunday."

"Concurrimos 12 amigos(as) todos en la misma mesa a restaurante IPA'A el miercoles 26 del presente mes a una cena donde en cada platillo el protagonista fue un insecto deliciosamente preparado por los Chefs Manuel Rubio de IPA'A y Juan Pablo Ussel de la Diferencia, siendo sommelier Marco Amador con vinos de L.A. Cetto y contando con la presencia de Alejandro Escalante, experto en insectos quien vino exprofeso de la Ciudad de Mexico.La cena estuvo llena de sorpresas, sobretodo, los que ibamos por primera vez a una cena con insectos!De entrada nos sirvieron una tostadita de nopales y un ostion fresco bañado en salsa increible, armonizados con bebida de mezcla de vino espumoso y cerveza que se casaba esplendidamente con ambas entradas.Posteriormente degustamos un taco de escamoles armonizado con vino blanco Chardonnay reserva privada. Muy interesante y bien ejecutado.Enseguida, Xanducata de cerdo con hormiga Chictana. Este platillo me dejo perplejo por el rico sabor de esta hormiga negra gigante comestible.Luego, probamos un clasico taco de chapulines con un tinto de uva Gamay, sorprendente!A continuacion un filete de res con un extraordinario mole de Xamues ( segun recuerdo una especie de escarabajo, insectos grandes patones, negros con manchas rojas y crecen en el arbol del mezquite), este platillo fue algo sin palabras en contraste de sabores, texturas, armonizado con un Nebbiolo Resera de LA Cetto 2001!, extraordinario vino. Sin duda, de lo mejor de la cena sin demeritar los platillos anteriores; preparado por el Chef Manuel Rubio de IPA'A.Para cerrar, un helado de miel de pulgon con Kumquats y ALACRAN, armonizado con un Chambrule. Fue una manera fantastica de cerrar la cena. El postre estuvo a cargo del chef Juan Pablo Ussel del restaurante La Diferencia.En concreto, fue una cena redonda, donde los escepticos como yo a comer insectos quedamos mas que sorprendidos y el costo fue muy razonable, creo que era cena para pagar el doble ( costo alrededor de $ 850.00 pesos x persona.Quedo mas que listo para asistir a la proxima cena de insectos!Marco, Tijuana"

"Un lugar con mucha decoración, para niňos y fans de los cómics, con área de juegos para niňos, con un menú amplio, con precios medios y altos, el tiempo de esperado para mesa fue rápido, estaba solo, el tiempo de espera después de ordenar es rápido, el sabor de la comida es normal, nada que destacar de su sabor en hamburguesas, pero muy llenador, el trato es amable, un poco de falta de tensión en momentos aun sin gente, los baňos muy limpios, ideal para personas que toman selfies con personaje o ver algún partidos."
