"We were looking for somewhere to meet my parents for lunch and decided on the Queens Head. Tables were clean and covid safe and they have arranged a marquee and separate covered area just in case of rain! We ordered 2 portions of fish and chips (probably the best pub fish and chips I've ever had! and 2 burgers which I'm told were out of this world! Food was hot and fresh and large portions! Good selection of drinks on tap. Staff very friendly and we couldn't fault the service. We also love the gorgeous pub dogs! Definitely pay a visit, you won't be disappointed!"

"Brilliant service super friendly and welcoming. Sunday lunch menu limited 3 roasts, fish and chips and a burger (no vegetarian option on the menu). Our food was great let down only by the packet gravy all over the plate. Tasteless and gloopy."

"Staff very friendly and made us feel welcome. Room clean and had everything we needed. Shared bathroom and toilet but didn't have a problem with that. Clean towels for us to use. Tea and coffee facilities are available. Parking just around the corner but free until 9am. Food is good and was a good price. We will definitely be staying again. Thanks dave and staff. Look forward to staying again in the future.. Oh and there is a lock on the bathroom door!!!!"

"Absolutely delighted that Memories of Bengal has reopened in Cholsey. It’s been much missed in the village whilst it was closed. The food as always is excellent. We started with a couple of Indian restaurant classics onion bhaji vegetable samosas. Bhaji’s crisp and tasty and wonderfully spiced. Samosa’s packed with deliciousness yum! For our mains, I had the Mirchi Chicken Tikka with keema naan, my wife had the Prawn Xacuti dish with coconut rice, and we had a side of another classic, a vegetable curry. It was fantastic. I’ve never found the Mirchi Tikka on any other Indian restaurant menu and it’s by far my favourite dish of all time. Essentially a really spicy hot chicken tikka served on the traditional sizzling skillet with fried onions. Yes please!!! Keema naan dipped in the vegetable curry cor! All round a fantastic meal, washed down with a couple of Cobras. They currently have prides set really low also to get people back in so we’ll worth a trip. They’ll soon be changing the menu please keep the Mirchi Chicken Tikka on there guys!!"

"Great eating atmosphere. the personal has given us to feel at home and perfect recommendations for wein and drinks. music in the background was added to the point and the temperature/smell from the fire to the experience. oh, eat! scallops to start and bark meat cheer up anyway. perfect. did not expect that."
