"All pizzas available with a GF base, comes out with paper underneath to separate pizza from the board. Pizza cutters are in a distinctive green to differentiate them. Huge range of ciders to drink. I'm not celiac so can't comment on that side. But for gluten intolerant people it's highly recommend."

"With my family in December 2022 shortly after the takeover of the new owners. The service was good, the food was well presented and all three courses were delicious and enjoyed by all. Decided to pay another visit in January 2023 after telling a villager, there was a new boss as the previous one had left. The menu was a bit different, the cake was from the menu, but a Rump Steak had been added, plus a few other tweets were made. The service was good, but the food was disappointing. The daily chili special was served in an e-mail court that you would find in the operation of a country Vet in the 1950s. Unfortunately it was dry, claggy and had an underlying bitter taste. The other diners were also disappointed by the presentation and quality of their meals without saying there were no clean dishes back into the kitchen. I really hope that the new owners will succeed, as Hambledon residents can easily support a village pub/restaurant like the Vine, but the food offer must be worthy to vent on a cold and wet January evening. It is not the end of the world, up and down. Good luck!"

"Excellent beer, great food, lovely staff, fantastic pub. Use the toilets at your peril. They must be as old as the pub itself. Much more frightening than the ghost. I cannot remember any men’s toilet quite so disgusting. It needs sorting, this is a health and safety disaster waiting to happen."
