"My friends and I have been coming to Pier8 for Sunday breakfast for about six years. Today we had our worst dining experience and we won't be back again unless standards of food, service and portions improve drastically. The scrambled eggs were overcooked and sitting in water; the bacon was overcooked and the toast underdone (our order was for well done toast, but the wait staff didn't write anything down); the cheese and ham Turkish toasted sandwich was snack size for $13.50; the coffee had no crema and was luke warm. The food here used to be good value and nicely prepared. There were two very excellent long term wait staff who have now moved on. They were always super quick and efficient and friendly. Today there were wait staff everywhere and yet we had a long wait for our food orders to be taken and a long wait for our meal to come. Such a shame because this is THE best position at Walsh Bay to take in the water views. Please management restore this cafe to its former quality! Oh, and bring back the breaky wrap to the menu. It just feels like whoever is now running this cafe only has a profit motive which is very sad."
