"I have been buying cakes at True Confections for years. I would buy by the slice for myself or for a friends Birthday as they were always delicious and they presented well. The last few years I notice the customer service has truly been lacking and for 10.00 a slice? Not really worth it considering I'm not getting restaurant service, just buying the slice of cake. I live a block away from this location and I hadn't been there in a year but I thought I would buy a slice for my husbands Birthday this November. As usual when I came in the bakery I'm ignored by the people who work there, when I did get service the price of the cake was now $11.00. When I got home I noticed the slice was half the size it was before. Unbelievable! Bad service and a skimpy slice of cake that is not worth the price. Please people, save your money and go to Puebread a few blocks down Broadway. Excellent customer service and the pasteries are half the price and delicious."
