"I had been to Erode on Nov for holy dip in River Cauvery on the last day of the Tamil month of Tula at Bhavani km from Erode After the holy dip visited the Sangameswarar temple and later in the afternoon Chennimalai Subramanya...Swamy temple Before boarding train back home I went to Trichy Cafe a pure vegetarian restaurant on the recommendation of locals.It is located near clock tower on Nethaji road at the market place The restaurant is small sized -tiffin wais of good quality .Nit happy with discourteous behaviour of the waiter Hint:What goes as dosa elsewhere goes by the name roast here .When I asked for Dosa the waiter told me to to the restaurant opposite for Dosa When in Erode follow their nomenclature"

"This particular Ambur Star Briyani restaurant is located between Bhavani and Sankari on the left side when you drive from Coimbatore to Salem where Adyar Ananda Bhavan restaurant is also located adjacently. I went around pm for lunch and surprised to see I...am the only customer in the restaurant that seems house more than seats. No menu card given but the menu was said orally. I insisted for menu card and then got. Ordered chicken briyani to try first. It came with a small plate, hardly will be sufficient for anyone and had a very small piece of chicken. Then, ordered chicken varuval (chicken fry) too. This is the first time taking briyani in a Ambur Star Briyani restaurant. Have to say, after long time had a very good taste chicken briyani. The chicken varuval too tasted best. The price is Understood why no one was there at the lunch hours in this cosy looking restaurant. That is you wont get enough quantity for the price paid on a highway restaurant."
