"One of the best Lahori taste dishes found in sydney. most likely are the chickens looking for kababs, chicken catastrophe, chicken kühnerpulao and naan. best fresh and tasty naanbrot. eating is always fresh and keeps the standards. always recommend. if they only manage to have a little more decent seating area, or more space to supply large crowds. otherwise eating and service is always on the ground"

"Don't get the name but loved the food. Had tandoori chicken, chingari chicken for entree. Both were absolutely yumm, served on sizzling plate, chicken cooked spicy and juicy was perfect for the chilly night. Had malai kofta, paneer butter masala and veg jalfreazi for mains with naans. The malai kofta was beautiful surprisingly not very sweet, paaner and jalfrezi were average, naans were brilliant. Was disappointed with the surcharge on credit cards but that's just a small problem. Will be going back soon."

"This place has really declined. Floors and tables are dirty and greasy, food and serviettes on the floor. Chair cushions were ripped wide open. Chairs themselves were rickety. Water jug had crusted curry on handle.I had dosai, it arrived cold!Curries were thin, not tastefulRaita was 3.50 for a tiny bowlService was slow and completely random. Drink 1 arrived after 10 mins, drink 2 after 20 mins. Raita arrived after we had almost finished!Chutneys were not authenticVery disappointing and not worth the low price"

"Owner should consider removing the word 'dosa' from its title as is very misleading. This is one dish they make terrible! In a mood to have some nice dosas for diner, my wife and I drove around Harris Park to decide which restaurant to try. Judging from the name of the restaurant Dosa Hut is where we decided to go thinking they would make decent authentic dosas --- wrong! Nothing we were served reminded us of south Indian flavours or the dosas we are used to in Sydney. The potato stuffing in the Mysore masala dosa reminded me of Punjabi masalas rather than any South Indian taste or flavour. The 'Mysore masala' was merely sprinkled on the potato stuffing rather than being cooked on the inner surface of the dosa. The dosa crust was too thin too enjoy the dosa taste. The sambhar thick and stringy, again lacking any south Indian flavours or adequate taste. The coconut chutney did not smell or taste fresh so we left it however the tomato chutney was tasty but so little that we had to ask for more - but it never arrived! The Chicken Rava Dosa was equally terrible, lacking taste or flavour. The chicken mince stuffing used in the dosa could go well in a samosa but not for dosas. Will never go back again ... at least not for dosas!!"

"Good looks deceive.. This place looks clean and neat from the outside..but that's about it. Food is ordinary..service is very slow with only one person on a Friday evening.. Ridiculous music (blues!) for an Indian restaurant Worst of all..it stinks of Non-Veg"

"I am pretty surprised to see that there are no reviews of this place. It's a hidden gem among a number of Indian restaurants in Harris Park.
It's a small place but nice and clean. I have tried a couple of dishes from Velsha's , each dish has exceeded my expectations, be it Samosa, Medu wada, Idli, Masala Dosa, Lemon rice, Biryani etc..... Everything is delicious without being overly spicy and oily. Their food has that cozy homey feeling that I can't describe and If you are a south Indian food lover like me, you have found your go to place.

Reasonably priced. Large Portion size. Quick Service. I think I can't ask for more. Please keep up the good work guys and Good luck !!"
