"Happen to be at Jorhat on eid day so decided to eat biryani instead of routine rice Assamese meal. Checked with local friends who informed about this restaurant. Located at first floor after weared off stare case we were expecting a simple joint like Punjabi dhaba as they address in Assam. Bit pleasantly surprised to find a nice well decorated restaurant where people waiting for their turn. We also waited for Abt 10 minutes. Obviously settled for vez dam biryani that was a delight. Also tasted Dal tadka n tanduri roti.my friends ordered chicken also.foos is very good. Service also nice n warm. Two drawbacks one place is small hardly 40 people and lassi we ordered as desert was quite sour also not availability of choice in deserts. Overall very pleasant experience calling for repeat visits."

"Great food. Till date I have the Russian salad....which is a cold salad and tastes amazing. Biryani and the Hunnan chicken. Hunnan chicken is a must there. And the stuff and chef is amazing and very hospitable. Its a cute little place. Its simple and rustic."

"Rajputana is a relatively newer upscale restaurant considering the city of Jorhat. What sets it apart from the others is the spacious restaurant and the food. The main dining area has really tall roofs with tall bay windows making it very roomy and comfortable. There’s a stage on one side where live performances are regularly held. The decor is very modern and aesthetic. They have a mezzanine seating that gives a balcony like feel. At times the main hall is booked, then one is accommodated in a smaller room on the next floor. That is a bit cramped. The staff is very courteous and knowledgeable. You can trust them to give a sound advice. <br/>The food!! First thing is the humongous quantities. Be it snacks or main course, each will easily serve 2 3 people. The taste is quite good too. And so is the variety Indian, Chinese, Italian/continental fares are all there. <br/>Good value for money."
