"WHAT THEHEEBEE SAYS ABOUT GUFA RESTAURANT, MYSURU<br/ <br/ I visited Gufa restaurant during pre covid period for lunch on one day. It is situated in the premises of beautiful Hotel Pai Vista. <br/ <br/ If variety of 'ambiance ' is what you love, then Gufa Restaurant should be an experience that you should not miss. <br/ <br/ The interiors of restaurant are designed as a dark medieval cave structure. Once you greet the receptionist and step inside, you would feel that you are in a medieval cave. Walls have been given an amazing cave/stone like texture. Lights are dark along with some dim colorful lights here and there. On the walls you would find artificial insects and its very cold inside, just like inside an actual dark cave. <br/ <br/ This is a multi cuisine restaurant with good choices for everyone. To begin with we ordered Chilled beer with Lime Soda along with Starters Peanut Masala and Sprint Rolls. For Main Course we had Kadai Paneer and Butter Roti, Daal Fry and Rice. Food tasted very good with balanced spices and oil levels. We truly enjoyed the food.<br/ <br/ Service is very good. Staff is attentive and caring. Manger is aware of the dishes and can help in selecting dishes suiting your liking. I have one special mention for the staff and I want to extend my gratitude to the staff and the management for this incident my 6 yrs old kid started feeling cold inside the restaurant. We were not having any warm clothes with us. Staff members observed that she was feeling cold and hence she was not comfortable in having food. They proactively helped us in bringing a blanket from the hotel and wrapped it around my kid. We felt very happy with this heart touching gesture of the staff. "Got to know about this place through Zomato.This place is quite hard to locate if not for Google maps. <br/ Parking is available near the restaurant.<br/ <br/ AMBIENCE: The restaurant is situated inside a coconut farm and is spacious. The ambience is pretty much basic and simple. The calm atmosphere is a plus point. They have a children 's play area.<br/ <br/ FOOD: We ordered Kalmi kabab, Egg Pakora, Chilly Chicken and Egg Biryani.<br/ <br/ Kalmi kabab: was served with mint chutney cabbage Onion salad and was fresh and tasty.<br/ <br/ Egg Pakora: Egg Pakora was again served with mint chutney and was good.<br/ <br/ Chilly Chicken: We had ordered Chilly Chicken Chinese style, which turned out to be ok.<br/ <br/ Egg Biryani: Egg Biryani was served with Onion raita and gravy, though was way too dry tasted good.<br/ <br/ ALCOHOL: They don 't serve alcohol but they allow you to 'Bring your Own Booze '.<br/ <br/ SERVICE COST: Service was good and quick. Food is reasonably priced.<br/ Overall a nice place to enjoy your drink.<br/ <br/"

"My bestie insisted this was the original Hanumanthu. After parking the car some distance, we explored Mandi Mohalla and reached here. <br/ <br/ The place does look and feel authentic. Tiny place, just passage and nooks. We tried literally everything available on the menu at the time we went , a bit late, closer to 2pm I think. Of the rice items we tried the ghee rice, chicken palav, mutton palav, the mutton one being the best. The rice was non-oily, light and very lightly flavoured. Quite different. My friends liked it, might take getting used to for some. <br/ <br/ Of the sides, the mutton chops were the best, just juicy deliciousness. Two big pieces in one plate. So we needed a repeat order since we were 3. The chicken fry was nondescript, can avoid this one here. The kheema balls were good but not the best I have had. I did not have the mutton liver, but my friends did and said it was average.They were out of boti and leg soup but there is a bowl of leg soup given along with the palav so we did get to taste it. It was light and nice, somewhat looked like rasam they usually give in military hotels. We did not have the stomach for the thale mamsa.<br/ <br/ Overall good. Been wanting to try this place for a while and I could click done on my bucket list. My choice here though would be the mutton chops, not the rice.<br/ Went a second time, the mutton biryani was consistently good but to our disappointment, they were out of mutton chops as we were late on a Sunday. Second time around we had the Kheema Balls as there were no other sides left. Kheema balls can be avoided, it was below average. Don't miss the Mutton Chops if you are going to this outlet of Hanumanthu."

"Was here for lunch. Good service, no regrets.<br/>A pretty small place, maybe it could grow and become better.<br/>It's a family restaurant. So no problems there.<br/>Almost all the chicken, and pork dishes are good.<br/>The veg fried rice was too spicy.<br/>But had a good time and enjoyed it there.<br/>Must try at least once."

"Thanks to Vaibhav Annexe for being there since the other Vaibhav outlet is not family friendly, used to be limited just for parcels, not anymore..!!<br/>I'm a big fan of Vaibhav's special rice and biryani, pepper chicken and chicken fry, naatikoli saaru service is good but the serving staff needs to be well groomed(T-shirts could be tidy, that's all)"

"Have eaten food from this place multiple times. One of the best places for Biryani in Mysuru. I personally love the Special Chicken Biryani and Chilli Chicken. One biryani is sufficient for 2 people. And once you try it, you will get addicted. The ambience is pretty poor but their food makes up for it. I have had the food door delivered mostly though, and their service has much room to improve on in that aspect. But their biryani keeps me coming for more, all the time!"
