"Tried to order from them and they refused to take card over the phone told them we aren't in walking distance to a card machine they told us to order from just eat or uber eats and the payment wouldn't go through on just eat and on uber eats the resturant doesn't deliever to my area even though the resturant told us they do. Person on the phone was nothing but rude, wouldn't bother with them again."

"This small Indian Takeaway produces the most delicious aroma as you walk past in the early evening. When we visit family nearby we usual treat ourselves to a meal, phoning our order through and collecting 20 or 30 mins later. Portions are plenty for us and come well packed and garnished with salad and fresh herbs and you do get the occasional whole spices too. Can thoroughly recommend the Biryani meal, the pickle tray and poppadoms, also various curries that my other half likes, the mushroom rice and peshwari naan. The mixed vegetable curry always has a good variety of vegs. Very good value too, can thoroughly recommend."

"Chanced upon this place when searching for Masala dosa in Sheffield! What a find. Authentic south indian food, cooked to great taste and served with warmth! The Fish 65 and Medhu vada as starters were spot on, light and flaky well spiced fish and crispy vadas with perfect chutneys to accompany. The beef fry was so true to the Travancore style and the fluffy aapams were a spot on accompaniment. Masal dosa was ok, probabaly needed a bit more filling, the sambar and chutney were great. The panacotta was a good way to end. All washed down with lassi and an IPA, great find! Hope to be back soon. To continue the experience, ordered the Nilgiri Chicken and the Thhothukudi squid and more Fish 65! Now, what could be improved- toilets are part of a restaurant vist at times and this is an area where some more care could be directed. Will be definitely recommending this whole heartedly."

"Pros: very well cooked classic 1980s Indian Restaurant all reasonably priced. Menu is 90% chicken and lamb, with 2 fish dishes if you search for them. Service a little slow but why rush a meal? Cons: no alcohol free beer, no vegan listed on menu, just tea and coffee on menu not Americano, green tea etc. Like stepping back in time."

"Will never be going to gulistan again! Food was disgusting! Popadoms were stale, tandoori chicken was like rubber and the naan breads tasted like they had been there for days and just re-heated! Food was stone cold. The manager was rude and arrogant even though he said he was quiet, he would not send the delivery driver back or even try to find a solution. Absolutely disgusted and would not recommend to anyone."
