"This restaurant has a history behind that, and a famous banquetting hall too, Famous politicians and busines men used to had nv items here on those days, My dad used to tell about the briyani taste and still they are in the business , i could not forget thier pastry shop and i think now its closed , please open it back and i had evening tea when i was working in trichy, fresh bakery items too , bachelors paradise in those days"

"A great place for Mughal food. The biriyani served here is awesome and worth making a trip just to taste them. Authentic South Indian non vegetarian food was also available and I would say that connoisseurs of Indian non vegetarian food should not miss visiting this place."

"Throughout our meal we were the only couple in the Restaurant. The room is large and totally lacking in ambience and atmosphere. The dark wood panelling and dim lighting all contributing. Waiters in attendance but service poor Prices high for the quality of food served....We had escaped the Sangam hotel and its buffet meals serving large tour parties and had hoped for something much better. A big disappointment"

The con is they serve only meals and that too they are open in the afternoon only .<br/>Their meals range from 250 300 and you can choose your sides.<br/>Their gravies are very awesome but very very spicy .<br/>They have mutton gravy,<br/>Mutton Nalli gravy ,chicken gravy ,<br/>Naatukozhi gravy ,prawn gravy ,nandu gravy, karuvattu thokku, Meen Kuzhambu.<br/>They have a drink which is of lime and ginger which soothes thespice of food and tastes good too. <br/>Their small onion omelette is good <br/>Their sides mutton and prawns top the table and others sides taste pretty good too.<br/>A must visit place for non veg lovers and who can bear the heat of the food .value for money"

"I frequently visit Hotel Raja for their Kothu Poratta. The Kothu poratta is made with freshly made porattas with chicken gravy and egg added to the same. The Kothu poratta from Raja Hotel has a very unique taste and has been very addictive making me go again and again. Try the plain poratta with gravy!"
