"Went here for the course degustation, the food was was tasty, however the portions was sooo tiny, the dishes were well prepared and tasty, although the cost of the dessert was a big disappointment, an el cheapo of a few mixed berries and coconut...cream. The ambience was ok and the staff trained and professional, if your hungry and are an average consumer of food you may need to go elsewhere to satisfy your hunger. We won't be back as we thought it to be overpriced for the tiny portions served."

"What I surprise is that the cap is great with crunchy chocolate on top! Hidden place is also another point, only for that coffee addicted person!"

"Our last minute booking was received and we arrived on time to be shown to our table towards the back of the restaurant. The fit out is interesting a small bar area at the front with fluoro lights and chalk boards with pasta recipes, cocktail menu and specials written on them . Near where we sat there was a magnificent chandelier , a bigger bar which was also where chefs prepared the cold entrees and meat and cheese boards. We order drinks and peruse the menu. The new spring menu was full of delicious options so we chose the new additions. First up to have with our Prosecco we have the chargrilled zucchini bruschetta— so good! After that we shared a side of Brussel sprouts in a balsamic dressing with red onions. Our mains were chicken in a romesco style sauce generous size and a baked salmon on a caprese salad base. They were both filling and looked as good as they tasted. We could not resist the sound of the desserts Eton Mess and brownie with real chocolate sauce, ice cream and caramel popcorn also both winners. Good value meals served by friendly and efficient staff. They are also doing Christmas parties so go try Jamie’s you’ll have a great time."

"Right in the foyer of WHK Horwath Center, this espresso bar lies. Immediately from the look and feel of it, there is a better lighting, a better feel to it, and more of an open attitude for clientele. Anyways, this is a good place for coffee and cake, perhaps even a fresher meal. Chalk it up to the expanding list of under-rated gems in the city. <br> <br> At the very base, it is one really long bar serving a number of different items. For any of the people who do work in the building, they must be constant regulars here. How it is set up is well-done, with plenty of space both ways from the counter for clients to look at, with the cashier being closer to the exit, and the coffee machine being right at the cuff of the door - might do a lot more business than one would think. <br> <br> All of the whiz-bang gadgets are behind the counter in full-view, and the use of space is pretty efficient. It is both bigger than you think, or more economical in space than you think - either way... <a class="read-more" href="#">read more</a>"

"Hosted an event at this fabulous restaurant yesterday. The food was outstanding - pork belly which we believe is a staple menu item was the best I have ever had. And the salt and pepper squid was sublime. The selection of wines on offer was a real delight and shows a commitment to a great<br> All round experience - my pick here is rosy red rose - slight fruit and a dry finish perfect for an afternoon canapé lunch. For lunch, dinner or your next work function this place is awesome."

"My favourite coffee joint in Brisbane! You can choose from a wide array of beans each with a description about the flavour. The food selections are quite nice and prices are on par with most cafes in the area. The staff are friendly and are do some amazing coffee art! Be sure to take of advantage of their Friday happy hour deal between 3-5 for half price food!"

"Amazing!!! Everything was just about perfect!! <br> <br> I came to Pearl Cafe with high expectations, thanks to my mother (she had not stopped talking about it, I swear) and they were met for sure. <br> <br> The cafe itself is beautifully set out, there's quite a few tables but I didn't feel squished at all. We were greeted by a lovely waitress who served us for lunch. <br> <br> To start, we ordered the artisan breads and olives from the starters menu. The bread was lovely and the olives were... olives? For the main, I had the charred broccoli salad and I must say it was one of the most delicious dishes I have ever eaten!! So flavourful and full of different textures, everything just worked. My mum had the market fish that was served with a fennel and pea risotto. She said it was "absolutely divine", her plate was almost spotless by the end of it so it must be true! My dad had the mussels special which was mussels cooked in a tomato broth, he too enjoyed his meal a lot. Now... <a class="read-more" href="#">read more</a>"

"Loved the chai latte here. Its my favourite.I think I have started judging cafes by their chai latte. It was nice blend with extra cinnamon. I would definitly say above average. This review is just for their chai latte.I havent tried anything else from here."
