"My son wanted a big pink donut (as in the simpsons) instead of a birthday cake. we went to our favorite donuts palast to make a special question and they have. big! the donut was delicious, pink and big! I have been here for over 20 years! friendly faces, great customer service and delicious donuts. best donuts on the island. kolaches, burritos, cakes/filled/cooked donuts and many drinks selection. keep them galveston local!"

"Through the drive thru, and I know it's lame to check a McDonald's. Waiting was a little long, but they took my order right, they were not rude, the checked it, the food was hot, and everything was right! That was also on a Sunday night. Only the meat smelled bad, so it didn't eat, and I really hope it's something else."

"I went to Shearn’s for my parent’s 50th wedding anniversary. I had just discovered the restaurant on-line. I requested a table by the windows, and wow, what an incredible view. It’s gorgeous there. The ambiance is equally inviting. The hostess and all the servers were so welcoming and friendly. They made us all feel really special and gave us not just excellent food and drinks, but a wonderful and memorable experience. Food: 5"
