"I was treated to Detroit Seafood Market 2 years ago and was blown away! This was my first visit, the snow crabs were the biggest and most freshest I'd ever tasted! I'd been trying my best to return but time just hasn't allowed, until Saturday. My husband (it was his first time) and I decided to go. I was very impressed that we could reserve online. When we arrived we were seated right away. I was a little disappointed that we weren't able to get a booth--which is the perfect setting for an intimate dinner. The host explained to us, in the future, I should specify when I call or reserve online and they will make sure a booth would be ready for me. I ordered the King Crab, and was extremely disappointed. The portion size was great but it had no flavor--tasted as if it had been over-steamed/boiled. I had it returned and replaced with the snow crabs, and requested that I have the honors of cracking them myself (I think this is why the King Crab lost flavor). The replacement was great, however, they weren't as large as my first experience. Our reservation was at 8:45pm, bad idea, because they begin turning the restaurant into a night club around 9:15 or so, which disturbed our nice quiet intimate meal. The moving of the chairs and tables made us feel rushed and in the way, although the friendly and accommodating staff kept assuring us that we were fine (Actions speak louder than words though). My last experience was the total opposite of my first experience. Overall, I would still recommend the restaurant, if you take heed to all of the prerequisites. I would return and give it one more try."

"We loved parks rec. the menu is unique, fresh and eating was great. the service was a little slow, but they were packed and all worked hard, so it was good. we enjoyed a relaxing brunch. if you want, you can buy the personal a round beverage. beautiful touch when they work hard. we will definitely go back."

"Fantastic! Greeted as we walked in the door, and told to sit wherever. Once we got settled, waiter was there in seconds. Came back with our drinks exactly as we’d picked out our food. Which was brought out as each plate was completed. Literally from the time we sat until we had our food was less than ten minutes. Delicious and fast. Couldn’t ask for more."

"When I visited my sohn in detroit, he stayed with me. they enjoy the creative menu, especially as vegetarian with zöliakie. the service had to be brought, and the prices were a bit heavy for the ingredients. my other non-vegetarian/vegan sohn asked to remind fried kartoffeln that they are not available until after 4p....only to get the table next to us 2 order. must say...Fantastic greens and black eye bases, all well flavored!"
