"First time- Went mid-morning, after 10 am. Place was pretty busy and they only had two servers, from the kitchen window it looked like they had a lot of takeout orders lined up. No wait to be seated beyond a server having a free second to seat me. Being a loner it wasn't an issue for service, got everything I needed timely enough. Food arrived pretty quickly. Ordered the Chicken Fried Steak topped with sausage gravy with fried eggs, fruit and a biscuit. CFS was quite good, tiny bit salty but not off putting by any measure, honestly just right for me. Gravy was decent and thick, stayed atop the CFS without running off. Eggs were a little rubbery but I asked for them fried with solid yolks so that may be partially my fault, probably try them scrambled or runny next time. Good biscuits that I topped with apple butter and made a sandwich with one of my eggs, fruit cup was quite excellent: apples (that were quite sweet for being green, had a nice tang to them perhaps from lemon to keep from yellowing? , grapes, strawberries, fresh pineapple, and cantaloupe. Hot Cocoa was a bit overpowering, like adding double what you'd make at home, generously topped with requested whipped cream, good tasting whipped cream, not just Redi-whip. I was quite stuffed. A definite step up from Bob Evans, not quite as good as Hangover Easy but more food for a similar price. Food, drink, $5 tip was around $23 (2/2023 . I'll be back when in the area."
