"It's rare that I feel the need to write a review so soon after I have finished a meal, but the j chicken I just ate from here absolutely transported me. Juicy and perfect level of spice and salt on a bed of perfectly done rice and peas (with a bit of cabbage and a plantain) for less than $10. Incredibly friendly staff and a quick moving line of regulars ordering patties, curried goat, and simple deserts and coffee. I work nearby, but this is the kind of place I would be so thankful for if I was in a hotel or office in downtown brooklyn and wanted something truly delicious and home style for takeout (or even dine in and get a feel for this unique corner of rapidly gentrifying Brooklyn)"
