"Within Caesar's Palace, you'll find Old Homestead Steakhouse. As someone originally from Chicago land of the OG steakhouses), I felt right at home in this classy joint. This purveyor of classic steaks had top-notch service and the menu offered a great selection of high-quality steaks, sides, and appetizers. All food options were truly that traditional steakhouse style and feel. Take a minute to picture in your mind what you'd an imagine a place called Old Homestead Steakhouse would look like inside...and you got it. An epitome of the environment and food you'd expect. Bonus points: Their napkins have different cut names on them. Funny and cute. They're known for their $40 burger. It's pricey but it comes with fries, people! hahaha, on the real though, it has a dry aged patty that is thick and to die for, melty cheddar cheese and caramelized onions. Very tasty burger indeed and I had leftovers. My friend and I also shared the 16oz Prime Dry-Aged Ribeye $85) which was a solid steak with all the proper sauces. We finished our meal with the $14 Big Fat Chocolate Cake that was out of this world! So much As a chocolate creme, cake and ganache. This made for a great late night snack with the leftovers. Vegas baby! If you're looking for a classic steakhouse experience in Las Vegas, Old Homestead is definitely that! Get that cake!"

"We were happy with everything we ordered! Started with Blue Tuna ceviche which was delicious and had some good heat. Next came the squid ink pasta with romesco sauce and crab and we wished we ordered two of these because it was just gone. The halibut, fried chicken lobster tacos and crispy rice with chorizo came out at once. Halibut was perfectly flaky, chicken had a great combination of sweet and savory along with a little heat, had lobster claw meat in the tacos which was awesome and we could've eaten the crispy rice all day. It was the perfect amount of food for two because of the tapas style. Lastly, got the churros and paired it with the vanilla macadamia nut ice cream. One had churro, the other had a spoon. Would absolutely go back!"

"I came here strictly for the 2 person tasting menu. Below are the pros and cons. Located about a 20 minute drive from the strip, Japaneiro is an Asian fusion with a French twist that offers a menu similar to Izakaya with some larger signature dishes. Imagine presentation food with an Asian edge. The service here is excellent, attentive and timely. Really top of the line. The plates come out quickly after each order. Now to the food... Seven Course Tasting Menu The first course on the tasting menu was Teramoto Scallop Sashimi topped uni and caviar. Most of the dish was amazing with each bite bursting with flavor of the sea. There were a couple bites where the uni tasted a little off that had a longer impression on me then the former. This could be a supplier issue or internal. The second course was was Salmon Ceviche. This dish really impressed me with the sauce. Genius and creative. Citrusy was the only things my palate could place a definite ingredient but definitely some Asian, I 'm thinking Chinese influence on this dish. The third course was Shigoku oyster topped with uni and foie gras. The first oyster was good. The foie gras just melts into your mouth and goes perfectly down. The second oyster was bad. Real bad. Not sure exactly what it was, but the taste can be described as poopy . If you 've eaten a lot of oysters, I 'm sure you 've come across a few of this on your eating adventures. The taste moves right up into your nostrils. Thank god for white rice and plum wine to wash away the flavors. The fourth course was French Escargot. It 's been a while since I tried the snails, but found mine extremely chewy. After a minute of chewing, I just swallowed it like a pill with a chug of beer. My date 's Escargot was good. -I 'm not the best qualified person to make this judgement. The fifth dish was Chilean Sea Bass. This dish was excellent. Really cooked to perfection. I really enjoyed the sauce and the seaweed elements. Quite the fusion. This alone is worth a visit to try. The sixth course was a bone marrow in bone yuzu fusion. Topped with small pieces of top quality steak and foie gras. What an amazing creation ! Full of flavor and quite the experience. The steak is extremely rare. Some areas did not seem seared at all. I love raw fish and not so much meat; however, even I was impressed. The last course was the tiramisu cake with green tea ice cream. Delicious, Light and not too sweet. Perfect choice to end a night. In final, the dishes here are super creative. The sauces amazing. Definitely an experience. I just wish the uni/oyster were either of higher quality and vetted a little better. The dishes from the sea are what drew me here with high expectations. I would not recommend the uni again, the oysters or escargot. The bone marrow dish is a must if you love meat. It 's quite the tasting experience to combine so many proteins. If I could do it again, I would definitely order individually than the tasting menu."

"The bone-in Ribeye was probably the most tender and delicious I have ever had. I know there are a lot of good steakhouses in Las Vegas, but I doubt there are any better than this. The service was great and not hurried. It was a fine experience."
