"The atmosphere of the Kappy's warehouse is really brilliant and so historic. The owner knows tea very well too and creates his own."

"Small little dessert cafe situated at Rundle street second level. Small little stairs lead to this high ceiling cafe. There's minimal tables and seats available so if you are thinking to go in a big group, ring in and make a reservation. Recommendation of dessert honey toast!!! I love the durian and taro honey toast. The honey toast is precut so it's easier to eat. It is not overly too sweet which is a bonus. I've been here few times, the lava cake previous visit was much tastier with good texture. The last visit, the matcha lava cake was slightly undercook. The flavour is beautiful but the cake taste a bit doughy and raw. The menu serves some small nibbles (savouries) so not totally all sweet. Not a bad range of drinks, just the standards. Worth a try if around city."

"Usually, I would buy a sugary syrup drink in a milk tea business, as I prefer fresh fruit and filtered water to quench my thirst, but I was drawn by the characters that explain vegan on the window outside. Enough to support a vegan business that I entered and thought to buy a smoothie, but the smoothie machine was broken at the time, and the counter forces said she was sad and that it was repaired, I asked if she was the owner and she said no, but her friends were and she helped them because they had just opened this store after they went to Melbourne and they really wanted to do the franchise there. So I asked and for the animals, right? Oh, yeah, she answered that, of course. I grew suspicious and asked, are they vegan? And her answer was: No, they are not. I asked why and her answer was because she loved meat too much! Then she asked what she could sell me, and I said: Well, I really don't want anything, I just wanted to support a vegan company. She answered very well-natured and said she understood and that was it. I left. Cheers on them to be friendly and honest and not contest and keep a smile all the time. Boo on the owners for opening a greenwashing cash in to take money from vegans, call their plant-based business vegan and take this money to finance their psychopathic love for killing animals and chop them into wastewater. A kind of love we can all live with. Especially the animals that probably do not feel very loved when they die for a moment of selfish satisfaction at meals. To bad companies like these use the term vegan to refer to a plant-based diet while absolutely lacking the meaning of the term and the appropriation of veganism for their business marketing for personal profit.
