"I wish I could write a more positive review about this place, as I was in a few times for drinks, but I had a pretty negative experience recently. I visited at 2 o'clock on 30 november and ordered some drinks, all fine .good choice of beer. we also ordered nothing funny, just a few chips and snacks. the chips needed 45 minutes to come, really unimpressed. the chips were asked with a bar staff and did not receive an apology, the chips took another 5 minutes to come. obviously they forgot? also £3.50 is a complete scrap for what we have, I am used to paying london prizes, but that was really not great. will be back for a pint, but would give it a miss!"

"Good food and atmosphere, but the service was somewhat slow and extremely disappointing. I ordered a regular toast and a coffee and had to wait for the toast for half an hour. After asking the waitress (because my coffee was already cold) it was on my table within minutes, but the waitress did not even say a word to explain the delay. When I finally asked about the bill, I became a bill about it was obvious that it wasn't mine and I didn't have to pay it, but it shows the attention paid by the waitress."

"Beautiful bar, with a hidden back garden gemstone!!! Great for all this beautiful weather we have. The dog was welcome so that was also great and the staff was amazing, polite and friendly. Absolutely back!!"

"I was lucky enough to host my book launch at The Londesborough last week. The pub is local to us and was an easy choice they have a gorgeous garden full of roses which is the perfect sun trap. The team were fantastic to work with, super responsive and flexible to ensure the event ran smoothly and exactly as I needed it to. They were super attentive with planning and on the night, and just a joy start to finish. Could not recommend more!"
