"This bar is exactly like any other speakeasy novelty venue you would find anywhere else in the world. Its contrived decor thinly veils the fact that it's just another cocktail bar with too much hype and hilariously bad service. There are better places to drink and...support with your money. I ordered a rum-based cocktail, which our waiter informed me would be made with vodka instead, because the menu had changed, but they didn't have a new menu to give me. I decided to change my drink order then, because vodka would have tasted pointless with the pineapple and vanilla flavour profile of the cocktail. He then brought me a totally DIFFERENT drink to the one I ordered. When my husband and I tried to order shots, because at this point we gave up on their mixing abilities, the waiter told us they didn't do shots and walked away. Heaven forbid we should have had another drink order in mind. Anyway, snobbery in a cocktail bar is nothing new, but please be prepared to back it up with a decently made drink and competent service if you're hellbent on being rude. Cheers."
