"Overall, our pre-theater dinner at Grand Tavern was disappointing. Although the hotel building is interesting, the small dining area lacked ambience. The delicious popovers were the highlight of the meal. The salad was fine, but nothing special. I did not taste any foie gras in my burger and it was well-done rather medium rare as ordered. The raspberry sorbet was a nice refreshing dessert. Also on a positive note, the service was excellent."

"A friend told me about this restaurant and said it was the best chicken sandwich he ever had. When I heard that, I had to look at this place. When I actually got there, the restaurant seemed like a hole in the wall when I got in. It was strange to see that if I imagined a place that has such a big chicken sandwich, it would be quite big to take up all his business that gets it. Byrd and Barrel probably have enough seats for 20-30 customers at a time. Nevertheless, I did not lower my expectations that made this sandwich even more impressive in my eyes. The Nashville Hot Chicken Sandwich (which my friend had recommended to me the restaurant and my server recommended as the best on the menu) at Byrd and Barrel was the best chicken sandwich I had in my life. I wouldn't have asked for a better sandwich. The meat was very delicate, the sauce had great taste, and the shrimps were fantastic! I don't like a Koleslawin, but whatever was in this claw was the real deal. I can't remember what other shrimp came to him standard because I completely swallowed this sandwich, but they served as the perfect compliment for the whole piece. There were very few times when I eat something in a restaurant and think of myself, that was so good I would like to order another one now. I definitely plan to see Byrd and Barrel again and grab another Nashville Hot Chicken Sandwich, and I would recommend everyone who likes chicken sandwiches to do the same."

"This place was awesome! I?m pretty sure there is a long line most of the time. So glad we got in at the bar really easy. The skillet I had was soo yummy, sadly only transferred in the cast iron dish that was cold and gave the food a bit of taste."

"The food here is phenomenal. 1st time, I had the cheddar burger, which was amazing. The 2nd, most recent time, I had the burger of the month, which was so amazing, it brought tears to my eyes. The flavor profile of the dish was next level. The owner also always comes around and asks how things are, which I appreciate. Can't wait to return. Reservations are a must! We typically set up a reservation for our next visit before even leaving the table. Love, love, love, Turn."

"I 've been to BBQ Saloon many times for brunch dinner...But on Sunday, what caught my eye was nothing short of life changing.This handsome man behind the bar, wearing a sexy Hawaiian shirt made eye contact with me, poured me a Makers (without me asking), slid it down the bar into my hand. Between being in awe of his sexy Hawaiian shirt, slightly unbuttoned, chest hair showing, and sipping that glass of sweet ambrosia, I felt light headed.I asked his name he whispered Billy .Not sure how BBQ Saloon landed such a gem.He definitely portrayed the five 'P 's of world class service: pride, passion, preparation, professionalism and presentation.I 'll be back soon."
