"The Hidden city cafe is a snug little establishment not from from the Diamond in Derrys city centre. The setting is quiet and intimate. We had breakfast here recently. The food was pretty good, but we waited approx 20mins to be served the food, which comprised of the Works (A fry...but no bacon surprisingly) and some scrambled egg. Coffee and orange juice were served far prior to the food and coffee was quite cool once the food arrived...just a small point but coffee was very nice. Service however was excellent with staff polite and attentive, even offering a bottle of water to the table (Other cafes and restaurants should take note). Overall, I only had minor niggles that prevented the five stars...need to pay close attention to cafe furnishings...the first chair I sat on, the cushion was completely gone and had to be swapped out. Price wise, no more expensive than the Pickled Duck or Primrose, but service much better. We will be back to try the evening menu and cocktails!!"
