"We booked in for lunch on Sunday 23rd October 2022 at 12.30pm for 4 family birthdays. When we arrived, there was no one to meet us on arrival to show us to our table, after standing around for several minutes, I went to the bar and...asked where we were sitting. I was told outside it had been raining and our table was sitting out in the rain, soaking wet. I looked at the young girl and said so where are we sitting?? After lookig a little puzzled she went in and set up some tables and chairs. (Some chairs had been outside and were wet). Why did they not arrange this earlier, they had all morning and it had been raining all morning. My niece was wearing white pants, and so decided to wipe her chair with a serviette. The serviette was filthy after doing this. We then went and ordered drinks there was 2 people on the bar and around 12 people waiting before us to be served. Ridiculous. I asked to speak to the Manager, after several minutes had passed, he eventually came over to see me, where I complained about the shocking service, and asked him to get someone to come and take our orders. He said he would try and find someone to do this. After 15 minutes passed, he came over to take the orders, but we had already ordered by this time. Then we sat and waited at least 40 minutes for our meals to arrive. Four of us got our meals, then another two got theirs, we had all finished our meals, then the next few got theirs. Two of our party eventually got their meals and had to eat them very quickly as they had to leave. My sister was the last to receive her meal at 2.45pm. it was the parmy, and very burnt, so I demanded a refund. Another from our party ordered the steak. It was so small, with more chips than steak and they charged $44. Disgusting!! My parents ordered the Sunday Roast, this was very average and had hardly any gravy on the plate. They said it was terrible. The Manager gave us 2 bottles of bubbly at the end of the day which was too little too late. He also gave us 3 x $20 vouchers to come back again. I will never return to the Stirling Arms and will never recommend them to anyone. It was an actual disgrace from start to finish."

"Get brekky here at least every fortnight. One of the few places in Perth where breakfast is reasonably priced. I haven't experienced too much of the menu, but other dishes I see going to tables look just as good. I always grab the special breakfast (bacon, egg, sausage, hash brown, tomato, toast and coffee/tea) for just $16! And that's not even the biggest breakfast. Food has never disappointed. Service is always quick and staff are friendly. You can eat inside or outside, to enjoy the hustle and bustle of Guildford. Honestly one of the best breakfasts in Perth and for under $20."
