"Meet meat in the meeting street. since the 80s we are here, and it remains one of the best sandwich spots in providence with very favorable trips for high quality food. the sandwiches are huge and enveloped with meat, so they get a half, unless they want to share it or take it home. delicious desserts are also gigantic and beat everything they can get at one of the overrated cupcake extravaganzas. would be great if they finally expanded and went into the city."

"With only 5 people at the bar it still took me over 30 minutes to get a beer. The chicken skewers were very good though! I may have just been there on a bad night but the service was just horrible."

"We had stuffed pizzas. Service was good. Nice atmosphere. Food was good. Would recommend the meat lovers stuffed pizza. Baby size is good for one person with maybe some take away depending on appetite. Would definitely go back again.Parking: Hard to find parking under 20 dollars."

"What an extraordinary, transcendent meal! They got a pig from a local farm and served the most exquisite ham. Everything was so fresh and seasonal, from the inventive salad with shaved cabbage, rye seeds and raisins, to the wonderful roasted veggies and, of course, the ham. I can't wait to go back. This place is special. And also a wonderful value."

"We came on the good faith of the good reviews. Outside of the very pretty mural aesthetic inside, this was nothing to write home about at all. A few of our items were either overcooked (steak, eggs) or soggy (toast). The servers were very sweet, however. Our server Sarah was attentive and made sure to bring out the corrected food quickly. Overall, I wouldn't personally recommend this. Maybe it was an off day today. "

"We come from Newport area to enjoy Anthony's deli. It's a family that prides itself on providing quality and friendly face service for many years. If you want the best there's no other deli I think in all of New England and we travel offen. I think 5 stars doesn't hold for this one. You guys are the best... Red Velvet....."

"The ambiente this place is great. it is very sweet, and the menu looked promising. the service was however abysmal. the restaurant was not busy and yet no one checked for us as soon as we got our food - nobody came by until 20 minutes after eating. and it wasn't good to eat. I got the chopped salate that was really just a little old green, 5 kicherbsen and a teespoon dressing - not impressed. that was my first visit, and I had heard that the quality of this restaurant has recently gone down the hill, but wanted to give this place a chance. I'll be back."
