"Have had great breakfasts here in the past so on arriving in Scarborough at the start of a week's break we called in at Relish. Glad we did as the breakfast was as good as ever. We actually booked a table for Saturday morning when we were joined by other family members. Same result another great breakfast. We resolved to broaden our experience of relish and over the course of the week called in for toasted teacake and tea again lovely. Calling in for dinner one day I ordered the Blues Burger and happy to report it was one of the best I have had in some time. Lovely establishment in all respects. Nice premises and friendly staff. Happy to recommend."

"Very disappointing. Long wait for very mediocre food despite the cafe not being busy. Coffee was good but I did notice other people sending theirs back as it was not hot."

"On a very pleasant sunny afternoon my wife and I just went over Scarborough south bay from holbeck hill and were looking for somewhere to eat. we stayed outside of alfresco and were pleasantly surprised by the varied menu and a series of good food...in the offer. we ordered two Ciabatta sandwiches, fight and a part of the rocky road, which we thought very cheap about £8.80 and went over the road in the peaseholme park. we found a sun bench and enjoyed a beautiful picnic. General fillings, nice well cooked food, it is a long time since we had sandwiches so good. that was Wednesday, 4th november, which began the day before the lockdown. we will live out this memory in the coming weeks and hope that the business will survive. we will certainly be back for more of this beautiful fayre."

"Stopped by at Sea Drift for the famous cobble cake and was not disappointed. Made to a home made recipe it was served warm with a pot of cream and we had it back in our nearby cottage. Recommended"

"This visit was so taken during covid. this is just the road from the bay hotel so we ordered our food and sat outside the pub with a pint after a long walk from whitby. you were eating on toast was not disappointed. doorstep toast and huge hits. we ordered the two vegan options to share: tomaten, wobble and balsamikum, and then hummus and oliven. both delicious and very substantial!"
