"Keeping in line with my holiday Traditions (check out a good burger/seafood/local cuisine and steak place on holiday).So while on holidays in Bordeaux and searching through quite a few reviews we decided to have one of our evening meals here.We were not disappointed the feel of the restaurant is very casual think diner. The service was friendly.The Burger well it was one of the best i had outside of London, great bun to meat ratio i took the plain beefburger while the other half indulged in a cheeseburger with the option to choose from the list of french cheeses avalible.The fries were crispy and home-made non of that freezer stuff here.Needless to say this is a must visit place if you happen to find yourself in Bordeaux."

"Got to hotel des grandes hommes a bit late; staff recommended here, just around a corner. Wow vey good indeed. Friendly and helpful staff even thouh we could see theye were tired. Very nice steaks, with blue cheese sauce. loacally sourced.Fine chips. Decent winelist. Not massively expensive. Can be a bit noisy, but they fornd a quiet corner. Well done."

"If they want to be, this is the place. there is a literal cellar of cheese absolutely amazing. I've tried so many cheeses I've never heard of. it was fantastic. it is a small place so early to get a table. I mean, in a city of big cheese it's hard to stand for a cheese place, but it makes it. a highlight of our journey!"

"If you have just arrived in Bordeaux by train, hungry and don't feel like experimenting with various restaurants in the area I highly recommend this burger place. Their burgers are delicious and fries are perfect! A big surprise because it may look like nothing from the outside but their food is way above average. Order the barbeque burger my fave."

"We ate here twice and would have gone back once more if possible (market was closed). Both times I had the moules mariniere and my husband had the one with the lardons fresh, steamed perfectly. We enjoyed dipping the fries in the broth before eating....The two young ladies taking care of everyone were to the point and quick. We had no room for dessert or coffee afterwards. A pleasant, casual market restaurant experience. They provided blankets as it was quite chilly and water without needing to ask."

"This is a great little restaurant. Interesting food cooked with imagination and flair. Great flavours and obviously very fresh ingredients. We were staying just a couple of hundred metres from here and stumbled across it by accident and are so glad we did. Friendly, welcoming and very well priced. If you area in Bordeaux, it's well worth a visit."
