"We were pleasantly surprised to find a series of clearly marked vegan options on the menu at the cookhouse, including a cooked breakfast, sandwiches, paninis and cakes, as well as soy milk available for hot drinks. our vlt sandwich and vegan cheesecake were really delicious. the personal was also so beautiful and helpful, even with water and cookies for our dogs, who are welcome both in the indoor and outdoor areas."

"I think it was the best pint of Timothy Taylor's Landlord I have had and maybe the best steak pie and maybe the best jam roly poly as well! Absolutely superb service as well. My wife is a chef and thought it was excellent. Now I've made myself hungry thinking about it again. Damn."

"Best restaurant quality food in the Aire and Wharfe valley. We go regularly. Food is freshly cooked and always excellent. Staff are always kind, helpful and nice. We understand they are short staffed and that you have to wait longer for your food but it is worth it because the food is such good quality. Yesterday the scallops were fresh with chorizo and a pepper sauce, the belly pork melted in your mouth. No room for dessert unfortunately."
