"The inside is tasteful and charming. This was the best meal we had in Duluth all weekend. The bread was baked fresh, the ingredients are all fresh and perfectly cooked. Each season the menu changes and I’m looking forward to trying more. The flavors and textures are all so perfectly combined. The chefs are excellent at what they do and the head chef designed a unique and tasteful menu. This is not an over priced meal, the quality goes above and beyond expectations of a $30/plate meal."

"I ordered my food at 6:06 over the phone and got to the location at 6:30 and the girl working told me I had to wait still, I waited for 30 minutes for my food, just for the food to be ready on the counter the entire time she just never bothered to check it till 30 minutes later……and everybody who got there after me got their food in under 10 minutes and on top of that she never apologized or anything for the wait???? Horrible business."

"First time back in Mr. D's in over 16 years, and gratefully, not much has changed. While the Westend of Duluth has completely changed in those years this mainstay has remained. We met friends for dinner and a beer and the service was very friendly and fast. Food is standard bar fare but better than most (and not greasy). Decent selection of beers on tap at good prices."

"I have never been here never even heard of it. I'm big on Philly cheesesteaks and Gyro's and when I say this place has me in a chokehold. The Philly was fresh and so amazing, the honey BBQ wings were perfect and the cheese fries were so well seasoned"

"Absolutely phenomenal! Food, service and atmosphere deserve all two thumbs up, totally amazing!! After I had overcome the menu online, I was sold. I know I'm back. Smoked wings are so tasteful and the Smoked OMC plate (with the extra pulled pork added) was perfectly interchangeable by two people! Complementary pig cattle besides a variety of their signature sauces was such a great note! Simple to a ketogenic lifestyle here, well done!!"

"Burrito Union was an excellent place to visit on a trip to North Shore, practically a pilgrimage for many of my friends. Recently, however, I noticed a decline in quality and value. In recent years I was able to order a burrito in a small or large size; The price for the big was around $16, and while this price remained, the share is now only the small size. Another problem is that these prices are no longer on the main website menu that made for a frustrating surprise when we arrived. By the way, I should say that our server was fantastic, the total staff seems to be doing a great job. She was very courteous and friendly. Also the quality of food remains good, which was the main reason we visited Burrito Union. However, when the check arrived, it was a Qr code that pointed to a Toast website. This website initially implicit I would have to download an app to be able to pay my bill, and even after the past, it forced me to send an email for my reception that is usually ok, but it also made clear that it would send me marketing emails, and I had no way to decide or not an email. Finally, Toast has charged me an additional fee: I would really prefer to pay a third party no charge on credit card processing fees. To be clear, this system does not make it easier for the customer, and adds a layer of trouble that really lower my appreciation for the business. I hope it improves efficiency at the end of the restaurant because otherwise it feels like a quality drop. Burrito Union is a totally good restaurant, but it is quality and value going back, and will no longer be a permanent stop on my trips to Duluth and North Shore."
