"My family had a lovely meal with great service. Our waitress was very attentive with refilling drinks and bringing extra silverware and napkins. My only wish would be that they were a little more careful with plating the pulled pork because unfortunately I did not get any pork but basically all fat on my plate while my mom had a great portion of meat with very little/no fat. I would suggest taking a close look right away if you order the pulled pork dinner to make sure you are getting a good portion of meat vs fat. Besides that, everything was delicious so I didn't feel like I was leaving hungry and everyone else's meals looked great (especially the ribs, I might try that next time). The fried pickles were yummy and I loved the mashed potatoes. I have had other positive experiences here so I'll definitely go back the next time we're in town!"

"This restaurant has a great old time steakhouse ambiance and coziness that was irresistible. I sat at the bar as the tables were already full at 4:30 PM on October 11th. The bartenders were friendly and very attentive and knowledgeable of the menu. I had the blue cheese wedge salad and prime rib it was one of the best rib's I've ever had and rivals the top steakhouses inmy home state of Oklahoma. I was in town to play Arcadia Bluff's golf courses. Highly recommend this restaurant as one of thebest in Traverse City."

"Great stuff! We have the picnic for two that have a choice of two meats two big sides and we have an additional side of waffleries. The side of the fries was huge! The brisket was soooo good the chicken was tastefully moist. The German potato salad Mac n cheese was on the spot! The sauces I suspect are house made also deelish. Very happy this place is only 10 minutes away from us! We're coming back!"

"Really nice looking restraunt. Kind of has a little more of a bar side feeling to it on one side. Upper side more relaxing. Loved the decor and staff. I would rate the menu as one of the best in TC for options. Most of our party really enjoyed theirfood but the shrimp in grits was a bit strange. We all tried it and no one liked it. I really wanted to give 5 stars but at theprice point for the restaurant I would expect all the dishes to be delicious."
