"Like some in this column, we experienced a very unpleasant, borderline rude lack of welcome. The service was atrociously slow, it took over 30 minutes for anyone to pay attention to our table, and forever to get served. The menu is very thin, no kids menu, no plat du jour. The only choice is basically any combination of salad, cheese and 'charcuterie '. Only one hot dish of potatoes and cheese, which wasn 't particularly good, and an omelette which was rather small. The cheese were disappointing. The only saving grace on our plates was the very delicious ham and sausages. We would have liked to get some Farcement but were told in a curt voice that this should have been ordered before. You would think they could mention this when you make your reservation by phone? The deserts were equally disappointing, a miserable tarte au myrtille with very little fruit and a chewy mediocre pastry. There are so many nice places in St Gervas, we will keep away from here in the future"

I am very difficult and the quality and the welcome is really at the rdv. depart on snow motorcycle, superb meal, aperitif offered, hearty dishes and qualities, cheap drinks. And we're waiting for the descent in the sled with anxious. Thank you for everything."

"Perhaps on the last beautiful day of autumn, we went hiking in the woods of St Gervais then had lunch at Chalet Remy. The food was traditional savoyard and very tasty coupled with very friendly service, and magnificent view of the Mont Blanc and Chamonix valley"

"Went here having wandered through town looking for a French restaurant that we could afford. Good varied menu with lots of carnivorous options. Very nice wine list and a good spot to sit outside. Hope to go here again."

"We were used to visit Chez la Tante in our glory skiing years and we're pleased to have yet the opportunity to come back after a long time away from St-Gervais in Winter. The dish of the day was not worth the price we paid, the roast meat was ok but the side potatoes were not acceptable, dry and surely reheated whilst we arrived at the very beginning of the lunch service. Overall we found the place pricy and the lady cleaning the tables rather antipathetic, the other staff members neutral. We might acknowledge all the good will of the owner thru some other comments but none of the staff members transmitted it during our visit. We regretted not to have opted for a picnic on that day, would have felt more rewarded."

"What a cute little place in Saint Gervais! We walked over for lunch and they were able to seat us right away. We had a great experience from service to our meal! Wine, Beer and Sparkling waters all around! The food was freshly made and salads were incredible. We were surrounded by fresh tomato and pepper plants, herbs and flowers the scents as the wind gently blew while we enjoyed our lunch was unforgettable. We sat for a few hours, shared in stories and drinks. We were not rushed to leave and enjoyed every minute at this little Gem! It is worth stopping at!"
