"In a foodie town with lots of options vying for the traveling gourmand, Les 400 Coups is an accessible, exhilarating & flavorful "must dine" in Old town Montreal. The design- forward setting blending seamlessly into the surrounding heritage environment, is classy, yet not off-putting or austere like so many establishments. The service from the maitre d' and on to the wait staff was efficient & engaging while seemingly effortless. The menu, while limited in scope, was incredible in presentation & combination of flavors. Most of the items are tasting portions, and yet with the five smaller dishes, the meal was entirely satiating. The green beans, and the cauliflower dishes were an explosion of flavor, and the tomato soup, unlike any had before, could be eaten daily. A daily spacial of Halibut was an especially lovely dish in a carrot broth. The in-house baked bread was some of the best of any restaurant I have ever enjoyed previously. Definitely a must visit when in Montreal."

"I went here to taste your beers, I tasted five of your beers, the beer I prefer it is coffee style stout imperiale with lots of alcohol in it, also I asked to play 2 songs, the nice and friendly waitress played that 2 songs for me and I also asked this lady for Wi-Fi, I can go on the internet. Thank you for my experience here."

"Came here after a long day of sightseeing with hubby and an adventurous teen. The staff members were very courteous and when a very loud very large party was seated behind us they were great about moving us to a quieter spot. The squid was...cooker perfectly! And while all of the other tapas were excellent the desserts were out of this world! We tried the molten chocolate fritters and the chocolate with bread olive oil and sea salt. I can't even begin to describe how good they were!"

"Plate with few foods with a common taste. Beer is good but expensive. The service was difficult. I no longer accept the covid’s apology because the restaurant did not overflow with customers but I found the employee’s lack of coordination."

"Always looking for a good pizzeria on Montreal, we're calling for an evening thrown our devotee on f pizza. buying 3 pizzas for the family. 1st disappointment: small size 2nd disappointment: 2 out of 3 pizzas have no taste. overcooking and/or equipment used of low quality. Well, anyway, we don't have any for his money."
