"My first time here in my attempt of trying new restaurants. I am a fan of noodle (chinese, japanese, Indonesian, Vietnamese, etc . But most of the time I like noodle with broth because I think it's more savory that way. So trying a dry udon noodle was a bit skeptical for me because I wasn't sure if I would like it. To my surprise, this is the best udon style for me. It's not stir fry, dry but not totally dry because they put sauce ground pork, green onions, and other veggies with a poached egg on top. The direction is to mix everything for about 20 seconds, the same amount of time I take washing my hand before demolishing this bowl of noodle, to make sure the sauce and the meat are distributed equally to every strain of the udon noodle. This is the best udon style I've ever had (I know I had just mentioned that but it was that good . The cherry on top was, before finishing your bowl, a server would come to you and offer free bowl of rice to mix up with your sauces after finishing the noodle. I asked if I could have a half a scoop of rice and the server honored it! It was the perfect amount and I devoured that rice+mixed sauce in 3 bites. "Truly a one of a kind experience. Noodles so uniquely delicious they incite cravings on the regular. This place is magic. Just wish I was privileged enough to live closer. Also, the takoyaki, absolutely divine."

"Came here for dinner with a friend on a Saturday around 5:30 pm. Plenty of seating available. Friendly patient staff. Spacious restaurant with low music in the background. They were able to veganize my Pad See Ew by making it without egg or fish sauce and adding tofu. The tofu was pan-fried to perfection and absorbed the flavors well. Good portion, too. I also ordered a Thai iced tea with coconut milk instead of regular milk. It was creamy and delicious but not too sweet like some places. My friend ordered the same noodles but with chicken and had them make it spicy. She said it was the perfect amount of spicy for her. Will definitely be back again!BTW, they charge 3% if you pay with a card, so you may want to bring cash."

"Unexpected delicious fusion food. These noodles are as if dan dan noodles were a carbonara, seasoned for a milder Japanese taste and then topped like ramen yet served with a thicker udon noodle. Was much more filling than I expected and leftover heated up better than I imagined. The karage, croquettes, and matcha tea were also very good. The karage is crispy and well seasoned, the croquettes are creamy and perfectly coated, the matcha latte is thick and rich. IMO due to the richness of the sauce and egg yolk, the deluxe bowl has a bit too much protein going on (poached egg, soft boiled egg, char sui pork, and taiwanese meat sauce) so I prefer the original (poached egg and meat sauce). Also due to the richness, I think the vinegar is key for cutting through the flavor. It becomes a bit one dimensional if you don’t add the vinegar. Overall excellent experience"
