"Had dinner here with a few mates. We each ordered 3 different cocktails that were all very watered down and considering the price don’t waste your money. All 3 tasted more of water than any other ingredient. The vegan/veggie pasta was tasty and enjoyable. Our waiter was great. We travel a lot and expect the extortionate prices that come with visiting tourist traps and this place is no exception. However, service from out waiter stood out from other places in the area."

"I start with fact that I was very dissapointed with Croatian cuisine it`s nothing in comparsion with Greek or Italian cuisine, of course. We went there only because we couldn`t find table anywhere else. We were waiting very long time for dishes. Food portions like in other restaurants at Old City in Dubrovnik with few exceptions very small. Expensive main dish 'Seafood plate ' ridiculously small amount of seafood on plate 1 very small fish fillet, 1 small piece of calmari, 3 shrimps not very big), 9 small salad mussels 2 empty), 3 small halfs of potatoes without seasoning and salt. For this price I got in Blanes near Barcelona hudge plate of seafood for two people. Food so so. Less then average I would say."

"We had eaten in Nautica and Proto in our first 2 days in Dubrovnik....however we found the fish of the day was delicous and great value here.You should try the pannacotta with the local cherry brandy at the end of your meal...amazing stuff. Avoid the old town for dinner....it's way too expensive....this place is a gem. A great local family business."

"Mamma mia is located at the top of the street and is one of the first restaurants to come to while they go to sunset beach. because the prices are a little cheaper than near the bay, but the quality (and quantity) I would say is actually better than its more expensive sea-viewing competitors. I ordered the steak and chips (chips are ordered separately as most sides are in croatia,) while my friend got the pasta. we both were very satisfied with the size of the meal. I was told that my steak was about 240 grams, but it looked much more. I would have suspected it was over 300grams, and it was rarely cooked to perfection as I had asked. this is the first place in croatia where I have ordered a steak and it has actually been cooked rarely, as I wish, many places seem to overcook. as for the partner pasta court she could not finish it! she has a great appetit and I hardly ever see her stop a court, but the portion was so great that she could not. that's not to say it wasn't delicious. I also tried and can confirm that it was delicious. I also liked her sitting area. they have a space that is right inside, but their outside seats are also very customizable, walls on all sides with large windows that open to allow airflow, and a fully retractable roof. they also have a ventilator in order to enable an increased air flow at hot temperatures. I would recommend a visit, especially if they feel very hungry!"
