"I was not at mamma lina’s before tonight, but was recommended by some friends of a fitness class that I run so that I chose it for our Christmas party. there were a total of 32 of us. I have only praise for this restaurant. we all met in the cocktail bar to begin with, I drove, but I must say the cocktails looked devine. when we sat on eating the appetizers, all were bought together, like the main and desserts. the food was beautiful. they had a singer there who was very good and was really added to the atmosphere. the hospitality we received was first class, the owners made us all feel welcome, became accomodating and sure that we all had a great time. if you want to enjoy a good night with great eating, then I recommend mamma lina’s, I will definitely return!"

"We've just had out first Sunday dinner of the year delivered to us from The Windsor. Had a few last year and we're defo gonna continue. The mixed meat dinner is more than enough for any man. Piping hot with a whole container of gravy to cover it and more. Perfect roasters and boiled spuds with a huge selection of veg. Trust me on this. Get yourselves one. You won't be disappointed"

"A really poor experience from start to finish. No service for the first 25 minutes then after standing at the door to the kitchen finally got a member or staff to take our order. Another 20 mins still no drinks until I asked again. Waiter agreed with no prompting that the service was bad. Food was fried and not very exciting, dessert was good. Overall would never go back and would never recommend. We were given a discount from the waiter at his suggestion because of the poor service but still not good enough."

"My partner and I ate here last night. Wow, wow, wow. I just don't know why this place is not packed out every night? Italian food, well cooked by someone who is genuinely proud of what he produces. From the moment we walked through the...door the atmosphere was relaxed. The service was welcoming and warm, I felt like I was walking into somebodies home. The menu has pasta dishes as well as chicken and seafood. My partner and I shared an antipasti starter and then had chicken with mushrooms and breaded chicken. Both dishes were served with a slice of garlic bread and the most wonderful Italian frittata. The chicken on both dishes was tender and perfectly cooked. For desert we shared a chocolate and raspberry tart. The chocolate was dense and creamy with the raspberry pieces tangy and sharp. All perfectly balanced with a good bitter espresso on the side. This place looks like a coffee shop from the outside which may make people think this is not a fully fledged restaurant. The staff are friendly and really know about what they cook. The wine list is perfect and not too expensive. Try the Sicilian beer too. Don't hesitate, take the plunge book a table you will not be disappointed."

"Lovely Italian restaurant, on Belleview. Food was fantastic (pizza) and very quick to make. Draft beer was good (Peroni) and reasonably priced. Server was a very pleasant lady with a good knowledge of the dishes."
