"Went for dinner with several friends on a Wednesday night. Started with drinks at the bar; classic negroni, cosmopolitan, spicy margarita, Bombay Sapphire all of which were made swiftly and perfectly by bartender Cassidy. We then sat down for dinner at a nice sized table in the dining area. Our server, Carina, was outstanding from start to finish. She was thorough and sincere in her descriptions of menu items, and came over frequently to check on us throughout the night; always with a smile. Our table ordered a margarita pizza with fresh burrata and mussels fra diavolo to start. The pizza was heavenly and the mussels were my absolute favorite. The fra diavolo sauce was light with a broth-like consistency, not thick and creamy like some others, which made it a perfect dipping sauce for the delicious focaccia bread they give to start. For our entrees, we ordered the Tomahawk for Two, Char-Grilled Filet Mignon, Hawaiian Ahi Tuna, along with some sides; sautéed spinach, asparagus, and roasted potatoes. Ordered a bottle of Frog’s Leap Cabernet to have with dinner, which paired impeccably with our steaks and fish. Generous portions, steaks cooked perfectly, and we were all more than satisfied at the end of our meals. Chef, Andrea, as well as manager, Melanie, came over to the table periodically to see how we were all doing which was an added bonus. In short, the staff was more than accommodating and all warm in their dispositions. We finished the night with the toasted almond cake (chef’s recommendation), crème brûlée, and espresso martinis. Big thumbs up on all. Thank you, Blackstones, for a wonderful evening of excellent food, exceptional service, laughter, and hospitality. We will be back."
