"What an amazing pub this not far from Stoke station. The sharing platter was tremendous value that happily fed a decent sized group of us. The pork pies are massive, loads of cheese to choose from and a mountain of bread and crackers. Reasonably priced pub that has plenty of character. The staff friendly and even ordered me a taxi when I had to leave. Can't recommend this place enough and look forward to returning one day."

"Rozey balti. his pretty old-fashioned and simply really how they were in the 70s and his definitiw in English and not asian, but I must say his always consistently beautiful. I like the way they cook the meat (the lamb is usually tender) and the sauces are rich and tasty, although I am sure they use pasty and not their own flavor. the nan brote are good, not too teig, they are light and big and lightly crunchy. I think Curry lovers would like this and I like the fact that they have to take their own alcohol, which means they can take their favorite quality wein or bee at super market prices that keeps the bill down. there are only one or two in the potteries that are better, so I recommend this place."
