"Having read others reviews and know some people who have been here was really looking forward to some great food , unfortunately it was less than average in my opinion , the food was barely warm , we had to send the kebabs back as they were cold in the middle so clearly not freshly made/cooked , just reheated not what I expect , the service was good although we did feel like they were rushing us as barely gave us chance to look at the menu , but I suppose I'd rather that than poor service. I wouldn't recommend and I won't be returning there any time soon. Maybe I'm picky but my benchmark is evuna that never fails to impress me"

"Firstly, they had no record of my booking of 15 ladies for lunch. We were well told when it was posted on a third party, they wouldn't have a record....why part of the tabl table, then if you don't want a recommendation... we were then told that they could sort out something we now sit on 2 seperate tables, even if there is a table available, already set that was not used for the duration. We ordered good that arrived over 40 minutes, and the staff had an attitude that NOT put customers at the center of their service! Our experience here has totally subdued what a fabulous chicken weekend should have been."

"The foods offered there are in the usually tinyly distributed, completely not matched with the price design. the Hong Kong staff is absolutely fanatic and terrible. due to some small misunderstandings, I was threatened to leave the restaurant and they claim that I cannot be served there with a full of insulted articulations. altogether even hostileness, abnormality and discrimination are very involved and strongly recommends that each of these müllrestaurant does not visit for any traumata or unpleasant surprises!"

"Last night the girls and I went to dinner in bakery, a broth and weinbar in somesters northern quarter, full into the braut with a ridiculous number of weeping and delicious food. bakerie belongs to the same people who have one of my favorite pizza place, dough, so I expect some delicious things! while bakeries is focused on brot and wein, they also make a large selection of plates and stuff. among the dishes are cheese, meat, seafood and vegetables and they get to adjust their plate according to what cheese/meat/seafood/veg items they want. four of us have decided to share four different plates, a selection of broth, cuddly and sweet potato...more"

"Came to Velvet Brasserie today for Sunday lunch with my friend who had a Virgin Experiences gift voucher which allowed us to have the 3 course meal option with a bottle of wine. The food was delicious the portions were really good. The house wine was also lovely and we had a jug of tap water for the table. The service was great and all of the staff were lovely and attentive. Would definitely recommend a visit here and we will definitely be back"

"A nice pint in a decent bar. The burgers were tasty and the service was great, it was just a shame that our first choice on the menu wasn’t available. I would definitely eat here again."

"Service was very poor. We were greeted warmly but then they brought us the wrong menus. When I tracked someone down to help they then argued until I showed them the booking. We finally sat down with the right menus at 8, then waited patiently for a while for out first course....this finally came at 9. The second course waa 30 mins later which was the point I started to complain. After this the service improved but then the food was clearly being rushed and this resulted in the monkfish being undercooked, dangerously undercooked! We finally finished our meal at midnight. A deeply disappointing experience and will no be rushing back. The point I was most annoyed about was several people started fussing over us after they realised that we were having such a horrid experience, but not one manager! It was left to the general waitering team.. Poor."

"Eating was in order what we got, went in before a theater show at 6 came only our starters at 6.55 and when we asked how far along our main were how far we had to leave 7.20, this was at 7.15 I asked to say that they were checking and back to us, it came to 7.20 and they had not returned so that we canceled our main thing. very disappointed by this service and for a starter and a drink it cost us 12 pfund each. service was terrible. they were understated. I called the day before to inform them, we went to the theater and we would have to go around 7.15, talking to a girl called sophie she was really helpful and a note on our booking, but the staff in this night did not see the notiz and were not helpful. will no longer eat there pampered our night"
