"Stopped in here while I was at the West Edmonton Mall. I love curry and had the red curry with chicken. It was excellent and just right level of spicy. If you're in the mood for Thai food when at the mall this is the place to go."

"Recently moving into the area i was searching for something close by and went in one day. I had a very large bowl of soup with a tasty broth, summer rolls and several vermicelli selections. We thought the food was very good. Good service and have even called for takeout twice since going in. Very nice place with a good meal. Worth a try"

"If you are looking for a place called Spinellis, it appears the restaurant of the Italian food center. We decided to go to this place for lunch. We both ordered a torpedo sandwich from their specials board and thought that was their...ass. A sandwich should be smoked with maple chests and the other one a beef. The two thin small pieces of meat and cheese placed on the sandwiches were tiny and tasteless. Café Latte was good, but quite expensive. The big latte we ordered was disappointingly small. You can easily get a bigger latte of Starbucks, which is just as good or better than what they use here. The restaurant is part of the grocery store. You order and pay for your food at the switch then wait until your order is called. The prices in the grocery store are far too high. You sell a lot of unique ethnic food, but you can get the exact same items elsewhere in the city for much more reasonable prices. It is difficult to buy in the store as the Aisles are barely wide enough to allow a car in some places. Good luck maneuvering through these journeys! It is very unlikely that I will ever be back."

"The restaurant is located in Amnor Center off of Parsons Road (99 Strret) - South of the Anthony Henday . Take entrance on the North Side to get there quickly (East side of Parsons).Our group comprised of our son and his work colleague, my wife, and me. We were hungry and ordered the deluxe dinner for four ($63). The food came quickly.We chose War Wonton Soup over the Hot & Sour as the is our granddaughters favorite. I had hoped we would have leftovers as my granddaughter was coming over the next day but the boys were hungry. The first bowl was spooned by our server.We had each just finished our second bowl of soup when our four spring rolls (the vegetables were fresh), the fried rice and our 4 entrees arrived. The hungry boys wanted to finish the soup before doing our main courses (19 to choose from). We chose beef with broccoli E7, shrimp-cashew nuts-vegetables E15, sweet & sour pork E8, and special garlic ribs E19 as our entrees. We rated the shrimp & cashew nuts as our favorite dish. We even managed to have a small doggy bag of leftovers.The ambience of high ceilings, Chinese TV, tea, and the ability to have a conversation made the restaurant appealing. "I've been to this soup and sandwich shop quite a few times, and it never disappoints me. It's been in business for over 30 years, so they must be doing something right! It's in a small industrial park on 170 Street in the west end of the city, and you really need a car to get there. They've recently renovated, and the new type of flooring makes the place look bigger and more airy. (It is quite a long and narrow space.)I go there, if possible, about 11-11:30 or 1-1:30. because at the height of lunch hour, the lines are out the door! They move quickly, though, because service is efficient. One staff member gets your bread and sandwich filling, the next one puts on the toppings (sprouts, cucumber, tomato, etc.), the next gives you your soup, salad or pie, and the last one takes your money!Their sunflower bread, baked on the premises, is so moist and delicious (I could eat this every day!), but there are also five other bread choices. There's always a daily special, and at least two choices of soup. Fife N' Deckel is best known, though, for its homemade pies, and it takes a lot of will power to not end your meal with a piece! It's like your grandmother put in front of you big, thick, slices of banana cream, blueberry, cherry, etc.!This is my favourite sandwich shop. It's open Monday to Friday 7:30 to 4:30 (caters to the West End business crowd, who flock here), but also Saturday from 10 to 3, where you'll probably have a more relaxed time! Fife N' Deckel has three other locations, but I've not been."
