"After 16 days of high end food at Alaska and Canada upscale lodges/hotels and cruise ships, we wanted some comfort food, so we chose the familiar and friendly Quiznos. They had a deal going on, with a bowl of soup and a toastie turkey chipotle sub/sandwich, which I ordered with chips and a Coke. Ahhhh. I sure did miss my junk food. Maybe I shouldn't call Quiznos "junk food". Probably comfort food is more appropriate. I was very satisfied with the meal. I think this is the first time I have ever eaten at a Quiznos in Canada."

"Grad A is a great restaurant with plenty of delicious food at reasonable prices. I love their Chinese dinners, canton soup, or their good old fashion dinner breakfasts with eggs, toast, sausages and hash browns. All employees are great, such as Gary, Ken, Sindy, Gail and Karen."

"We came here for lunch on the weekend because the other restaurant we were planning on going to was full. This place is quite cosy and clean. There were a couple of other patrons when we came, but it started to fill up soon after we arrived. Service was good hot tea provided after being seated. There is a variety of dishes on the menu besides pho. I ordered the beef stew on rice. The beef was delicious but a bit on the tough side. My wife ordered the lemon grass pork spring roll with vermicelli. She enjoyed her order very much. The pork was very tasty (marinated with a gingery sauce) and the spring rolls were very crispy. This place accepts cash only."

"Gave it a try on a Saturday, after not having been there for several years. Turns out, we didn’t miss much. It is standard fare of standard quality. I had the Mediterranean Omelette. Nice potatoes but low-priced bread. The Omelette itself is of the flat (crepe like) type and then rolled up. What you don’t get is that fluffy type with all the ingredients incorporated as you find at Maria’s Taverna or Au Comptoir, both on 4th Avenue. My wife had the Breakfast Wrap. While the ingredients were generally good, she expected to find more egg in it. No fancy coffees here. With so many good lunch places in Kitsilano, 9th Avenue Grill is no more than average."

"This family (siblings) business have been around for 33 years. Their old location was at the Ridge theater/bowling center at Arbutus and 15th. This location is smaller now but lots of free parking on Macdonald St. Cash or debit only. 10% off for pick-up orders over $60 by cash. 5% off for pick-up orders over $60 by debit. Does not open for dinner on Mondays (11am-3pm). Does not open for lunch on Sun and holidays (5pm-9pm). Their authentic Chinese food is good and reasonable. My pork chop, chicken and green beans (the best texture in Vancouver) are all around $22 each. They are still giving out fortune cookies.EDIT:Green beans $20Sweet sour pork $20Meat, seafood and tofu in hot pot $25Paper bag $0.50"

"The restaurant itself is quite small with tight spaces. There are a lot to choose from the menu with mediocre prices. We ordered 4 different hot pots which come with rice, meat and vegetables and a bowl of soup. When the hot pot came, we couldn't believe how much rice it had inside! It was quite a lot and the rice was actually "sticking" to the hot pot, meaning, the rice was cooked in it. We also ordered a dish of BBQ duck and another dish of salt & spicy tofu. The duck was good and not too salty. The tofu was not fried crunchy enough and not spicy enough. It came with some "wet" onion and that made the tofu soft quicker! That was not the right way to make salt & spicy tofu! Remember to bring CASH as the method of payment is only cash or with interact (debit card). We would go back again to try some other dishes! By the way, the prices posted on their website is not current! When we were there on Jan. 21, 2017, the prices were about $1 more at the restaurant."
