"Four of us were touring Bamberg. We decided we wanted to stop for a coffeebeerwine and thought that Eulenspiegel looked like a quaint, delightful, German place to do so. Were we ever mistaken! We sat down and studied the German menu none of us speak...German. We asked the surly waiter a couple of questions about the menu the first two times he stopped at our tablewhat is served with the sausages, do you have coffee, that sort of thingtrying to get a feel for what we wanted to order. He finally walked off, got another menu, threw it on the table yes, actually THREW it!, and stalked off! To say we were taken aback is an understatement, but we duly studied the English menu. Our husbands were unhappy enough at that point that they didn't want anything, but my friend and I each ordered a glass of wine. Our surly friend took our order, but came back after almost five minutes to tell us that if we wanted wine, we had to go to the bar, as the tables were for food, then walked off again. Please bear in mind, only two other tables were occupied at the time. One I can't speak to, but the other was with travel companions of ours who were drinking beer! During the time we were waiting, we had conversed with them and they had commented about how rude the waiter was, how they could not get him to serve them. They had home to the bar to place their order and get it. We left at that point and would not recommend the place at all. A thoroughly unpleasant experience in an otherwise lovely town! Note: I cannot provide ratings for food or value since we never received anything, only the extremely poor service"

"Quality and taste of food was good except for the bread for which we asked with the pasta which was as hard as a rock. We did not yet finished our entree and the plates were still on our table for the ones who were finished but still they brought the main course like we were required to leave as soon as possible. Then we ordered an extra drink and it was forgotten. The quality of the pasta was good but not terrific. We were expecting a lot more from the best Italian place in Bamberg according to tripadvisor"

"Cozy, rather small pub with friendly service, in summer with seating in the beer garden. the beer card is really extensive and new, special beers are always offered. very recommended for me are the pizza (from 18:30 a.m.) and the burgers, on the menu are also numerous salads, many smaller dishes and every week a different daily dish (service a vegetarian, Friday fish.) the workers are very nice and friendly and extra wishes were always perfectly fulfilled. because there are not too many seats and most tables are also small Latin, a reservation is recommended at intervals."
